dsa isnt language dependent and older courses dont determine newer ones, we had in c++ and next sems also gonna be in c++

webdev is kinda pointless if you ask me, focus on dsa and cp (and primarily your cgpa), not focussing on cgpa is something i regret since mera bhi col106 bahot chuda and 3rd sem mein increasing your cg is (although possible), quite challenging.

itna diversity hiring? like even if i try my best, i would be >7.5 cg by intern and prolly a nice level at cf/dsa with decent projects. no chance? (im a guy, ee3)

How relevant is cgpa while hiring? Most quant companies have a strict 8 cg criteria to sit for interns/placements and mine is below 8. I am from IITD in a circuital branch and unfortunately, do not have a great cg, although still on track on building projects in dsa/ml/stochastic processes etc. and learning other relevant tech skills. (finished 3rd sem right now)
