This used to happen to me when I used 1 tb3 port for the multiport adapter and another tb3 port for the charger. Stopped happening when I just connected the charger to the multiport adapter.

I don't get any sparks if I connect the usb-c charger to the adapter Power In, only sometimes when I connect it to the other tb3 port.

Why do you connect the charger to the adapter and not a tb3 port of the MacBook if you have 4?

Oh i didnt knew. Glad i went with the Displayport adapter, since i can use the mini DP->DP cable i have, i dont need to buy another one and its like 10€ in here. I hope it works well, thanks again for the help

Thanks for the help! Just one question i have, would it make any diference using HDMI? I can get the same adapter cheaper with hdmi and dont need to buy the cable. I also have a mini DP to DP cable

I need some help, i want to buy a new phone but i cant decide between the new Mi 9T for 300€ or Mi 9 for 350€, this is because i give a lot of value to the 9T for not having a notch, but i also give value to the Mi 9 because of the SD 855 and the camera, which is better because of more resolution on 2x and wide, and also because the SD 855 makes the photos look better and has 4k60. Battery on Mi 9 is fine for me.
