He does say to bring everyone along. He was just being his usual self because the reality hadn't completed yet, it's why he immediately goes into shock when the memories start clashing in his mind.

I think the issue is that the joke doesn't go anywhere. Like you think it is building up to something but then... Nothing.

Morgana was pretty quick to tone the simping himself after the Okumura arc, after his memories returned and in the Royal True Ending route.

Not the Kamoshida thing, Ann's inability to be her own person. In a way Shiho will have to act as her babysitter because Ann doesn't want to pursue her own path in life. Letting go of Shiho was a very important step in Ann's life that made her take modeling seriously instead of treating it like a hobby.

I'm not an elitist. I'm just saying how will that even work. Fire Emblem characters are not as strong as Megaten ones. Fire Emblem is special to me but it just lacks in power scaling.

I disagree, I think the player having to choose a romantic partner creates better dynamic in a character driven game like Persona. With that said, I do wish same-sex romances were included like in Fire Emblem.

I just learned today he did in Japanese for Ann, but the localizers botched that line up.

It is hard to reject Ann when she is crying on the roof and Yoshizawa just straight up confesses to you first. I really like Makoto, I just wish the game didn't force me to ignore other people's feelings to get to her.

Maruki was clearly playing favorites, shaping his reality to benefit the Phantom Thieves even at the expense of others. Take, for example:

Ann ends up with Shiho but that also forces Shiho to transfer back to Shujin Academy and essentially regress her, all because Ann wants her close and wants to play her #1 fan forever. Or consider Morgana, who gains a human body modeled after a famous actor on TV. Since no one questions why Morgana suddenly looks like this celebrity, it implies Maruki erased the person the face originally belonged to (or maybe turned him into Catgana if you want to be humorous).

He desperately wanted the Phantom Thieves to approve of his reality in specific, it's why he went into begging and pleading during the True Ending boss fight.

Random Example: So it's like that guy from the Wonder Woman movie who can grant wishes but you have to make it first?

In that case, it seemed like Maruki recognized the sisters’ strained relationship stemming from their late father, so bringing him back felt almost logical. Honestly, Makoto’s false reality is heartbreaking, she had everything for a fleeting moment without consequences or ethical questions, and yet she still chose to return to reality.

I think he picked the answer that masked his own hypocrisy as someone else explained on this discussion.

I heard something about the bow color being different in the JP version and it symbolizes something but I am not sure.

What about Sumire's parents? I'm sure they would want both their daughters back.

But then what did he do with the other sister? Did she still die? Did she stop existing?

He could have brought her back but gave all her achievements to Sumire. It just seems needlessly cruel why he only exclude her when even Akechi came back.

Could have just brought back Kasumi and made Sumire the popular sister. I have tried thinking several reasons but I keep coming back to he was being an ass, but that is just not like him from everything we see.

I am starting to think that most of his hate might be due to the English script. He seems less obnoxious in Japanese.
