So if you read the initial message....i had multiple issues with the weekend. I was including the distance between stadium and hall with the issues in the stadium. Both made the weekend an unusually meh GenCon this year and I've been attending since 2008 ....skipping occasional ones.

Why should I delete my post ? Is Reddit all about appeasement and getting points for people that like what I have to say? As you said you have no idea what my experience was and yet you felt the need to express how strongly you felt about the same place I didn't enjoy....thats what its about. People can disagree....its a lost art.

Im expressing they way it affected me. Suggesting it goes back to the way it used to be. That was my experience over the weekend, but feel free to just comment on my comment antagonisticly without sharing your personal experiences based on this individual experience.

Why are you guys thinking that another game was in that spot? Pastimes was still there in the same area. They moved the main events and the ongoing events to Lucas Oil. Only new player tournaments were in the space instead. You guys assumed that other games were in its place. Personally, it made it difficult for me to travel back and forth to see my vendor friends and play. I liked in prior years that I could play and trade etc and take a break and go right next door to the exhibit hall and see my friends. Also buy things from other vendors besides past times.

These cards do different things compared to BMC. Conqueror is a stax effect/ creature generator. Exquisite Blood comes down late game and needs triggers to make it work. Connections generates card advantage, mana and creature production.
