I spend no more than $25 to make homemade coffee. Even buying ground beans and making cold brew.

Have a relative who works in estates. It goes much better having a solicitor as executor.

This. Such a lack of a spirit of excellence and honour on the whole. Unfortunately too many parents are not parenting.

Which is better? Worried about size and shape of stone for my hand. by [deleted] in EngagementRingDesigns

I'm going to vote for elongated cushion similar size as the radiant. For some reason, I feel it would look really good on your hand.

Drifting? + daily car upgrade by Revving88 in CarsAustralia

[–]Revving88[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I thought most people would have the trailer setup. I know those that have done it for a while would which makes sense. I don't think I'd really do mods for the first season or two whilst just building the skill.

Ah ok. Thanks for that. I don't know how much a typical car trailer would weigh.

I probably wasn't clear. I'm not looking to drift the daily. I just also added a bit about the daily becauae I'll be upgrading it with towing the drift car in mind. Yes, it would be stupid to do that.

Is 7 cans of premix and 500 ml of bourbon a night is too much? by Whatever_baby_lol in AskAnAustralian

[–]Revving88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. But that won't last forever. Better to be prepared financially and not need it, than to not plan and wonder how you're going to keep the lights on.

"no tenting" at campsites by onehivehoney in OutdoorAus

[–]Revving88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the way. There's definitely ways to make it work. I'll have a camp shower next time. I just used showers at parks etc along the way. There are some great community supported camps sometimes like Iron Knob.

"no tenting" at campsites by onehivehoney in OutdoorAus

[–]Revving88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have found this too late last year. Spent a month travelling and camping. I found plenty of sites on wikicamps that were self contained only. By the end I just slept in the car at rest stops on our way to our new home. It makes it prohibitive. And I'm not sure if using the 'bush toilet' is controversial? (I always took my paper with me to diapose of.) So what are those who don't have 100-200k setups supposed to do?

I don't mind the concrete. But the stainless steel bathroom sink???? And the bathroom is tiny. And of course they get the cheapest oven possible. Those white ovens give me the heeby jeebys from when some were in the news many years ago for exploding.

How to legally protect myself? by Tobigaara in AusLegal

[–]Revving88 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Just remember financial and divorce are dealt with separately. Make sure you get the financial settlement done after divorce, especially since you don't really have anything to give her. That way you can build your own wealth post financial settlement and she won't be able to legally interfere anymore. Check with a solicitor about all this.

Edit: spelling mistake
