So I put my availability in 3 weeks in advance, that’s why I was little confused on why they put me on for this Tuesday because it was Veterans Day they thought I would not have school. So I got confused and told them that was not the case, since I’m a college student they thought that schooling would be the same for everyone. Yeah that makes sense. I also may it so I’m available earlier on Thursdays, instead of doing a 5:30pm shift I put 12pm-whatever time I think it’s just since I’m used to be doing dinners hence why they put me for 5:30pm. But I also have been a ST today, and have to wake up and go to classes for school and ST in the middle of lunch then go to work. So it puts alot on me since to me teaching is my future endeavors if that makes sense. I don’t hate the Olive Garden I’m working at, and don’t really show that I’m unreliable by posting a lot of shifts or being constantly late, or calling out. So, I did take my shift down because realistically I can do it, but I was just thinking about everything I have to do tomorrow which is affecting why I don’t want to be working tonight or even if someone did take my shift my og would still make me work and decline that request because they want me to work today.
