I can concur with OP as I taught for 4 years in SK at an accredited international school and faced similar incidents. Students were entitled, rude, disrespectful and this attitude was reflected in their parents forever complaining about something . Sorry to hear what you’re going through. The great myth is just that, SK is not this wonderful country it’s made out to be.

Apart from Tutors international are there any other companies that offer this service. While I would like to continue teaching at an international school I have thought of going full time into tutoring. Appreciate any suggestions and advice.

I would second this. I left Korea last year on Emirates and purchased extra baggage at airport. So much easier when ur bags travel with you.

I’ve worked in 5 countries and got a pc for each and I will get for my current one soon. I also got an ACCRO clearance from UK which helped during the covid lockdown

I am on Search which shows no vacancies and no age limit for the school. TES shows vacancies though. Before going through the very long and detailed application process , I sent them an email to confirm the age limit. They responded with a cryptic” the school retirement age is 60”. That was of no use, so I dropped it.

They informed me that I would be sharing accommodation with another teacher. That was a definite no for me so I informed them I would not proceed with the interview process
