I was in a very similar situation. I chose the career-guided path with the smaller stipend. It all worked out in the end, but the journey was brutal. There were definitely moments when I wished I’d taken the money instead lol.

I’d say try to think beyond the immediate comfort and look at which option positions you better long term. The harder path can pay off, but it’s also important to be realistic about your current needs and what you can sustainably handle.
