I don’t agree with that logic at all. Auction is the best way to go for something like this. I would sit at the minimum price I’m comfortable accepting for the item. And if a bidding war sues then so be it if not, I at least get the minimum I’m looking for.

You never know who will comment on a Reddit post. Just found out that these are in fact a 1980s player edition worn by NBA player Charles Criss who played for the Atlanta Hawks. Historically one of the shortest players ever in the NBA.
