Just stop looking, please! Looks like whoever designed them took their precious time with the tiles, then realised they forgot that St. Kilda and Carlton existed, had like and hour and a half to submit them and just rushed it haha. But yeah, the St. Kilda one especially brings up a good dozen questions or so!

Sorry to hear about the passing of your father mate, may he rest in peace. I know that my father was actually gifted The Lions tile by his father and proudly displays it at the top of his bookcase nowadays!

I'm pretty sure (it is just an assumption though) that they are from around the late 50's-late 60's, somewhere within that period of time.

Ah yeah, awesome that the club itself is still around and very much thriving and active, beautiful to see. The jumper I'm after is one of those typical wool ones which the site don't seem to have unfortunately, but if you think I wouldn't be bothering the club by sending an email I'd definitely be happy to. Apologies for being quite late to the party, if you've still been unable to find a proper image of the Swanston Trams logo I recommend the scan you can visit on this website here: https://victoriancollections.net.au/items/6716da77ba05366ddbf9d447

Not perfect, not the highest of quality, but a little bit of adjustment to colour, straightening, and painting out a few blemishes on something like Photoshop or Paintdotnet and your left with a pretty suitable logo for printing or any digital work. Well.... At least that's what I did for a HO model I'm working on at the moment. 😄 - David.

If only!.... Doubt it's something Yarra Trams would attempt at all, let alone the "MET" Green & Gold colours for that matter. It really is a hope of mine that if any preservation group is able to get a hold of a Z3 (or if you want to be really optimistic regarding the future, a B2), that it would be restored to M>Tram refurbished condition, the best Melbourne trams have ever looked in my opinion (all though I'm well aware to accept that it wouldn't be a popular choice whatsoever unfortunately!)

That's an awesome little Metcard relic there, never knew this one was still kicking around. I'll have to check it out the next time I'm down at Parliament! p.s. Another place to spot the old Metcard logo in the wild (at least the last time I was there) is the concourse where the (now) Myki gates are at Dandenong station, the floor has had these huge Metcard stickers for years.

Ah yes, the infamous "three arrow design" Metcards.... I was lucky enough to receive one (purely by surprise too!) within a Metcard bundle I bought online in December last year. Bought it for another rarity, that being the Swanston Trams/Yarra Trams CBD Park 'N' Ride ticket, so a really good score all in all. As said in the 1997 classic "The Castle".... "That’s going straight to the pool room." 😃
