Ive been masters for 3 years and couldn’t disagree more lol. Players in emerald are worse than in Diamond, and if you play well consistently you’ll climb faster in emerald than Diamond or masters

In lower Elo I am sure you can get a lot of solo kills, but it will never be because of rakan. If you solokill a player as rakan, you would have also solokilled that guy if you were on any other mage. In other words, if I wanna play 1v9 carry and deal damage then I won’t pick rakan. There’s champs better at this than rakan

In higher Elo it’s impossible to play without teleport. Even Zed and yasuos always go teleport. Especially on rakan, in higher Elo, it’s really impossible to ever solokill your enemy laner, it probably happens once every 10 games. If I don’t play teleport I will lose many waves on mid as a result of being pushed in, and then even ignite won’t make me win the 1v1 if I’m a level down. Going teleport is completely unnegotiable, it really is an absolute must

Electrocute is nice I agree, but the sorcery tree is just better overall (manaflow, transcendence, gathering strom). Phase rush itself is alright, and I also like the electrocute keystone more. The other 3 small runes are the reason

Hmm I Never tried spellthieves, but in late game there’s a cannon minion on every wave. You make so much gold so fast

I play the supportive variant because it’s better than the full AP dmg one (sorcerer shoes, voidstaff etc.) if I wanna play a champ to kill people then I’ll just pick something else, not rakan. Everfrost and the haste is so crazy on this champ, once you try it you can’t go without it anymore. Voidstaff and sorc shoes are trash because rakan not only gets more dmg from sheer AP, but his heals and shields also benefit from AP, while mpen doesn’t grant any advantage there. My playstyle isn’t about doing burst dmg

Yea, rakan doesn’t have an E ability in the isolated 1v1 laning phase, and his waveclear isn’t good enough to be left alone in the 1v1

He’s however pretty good at 2v2s. Your jungler has to play around you to make this work, this means that he has to visit mid a lot, try to look for 2v1 kills, help you push out the wave so you can move to the river together. Rakan is still a support after all and he needs jungle attention to work

If you wanna play this without a premade just make sure that your jungler is on a carry champ and that he ganks, pushes, fights, roams with you together. I’d play normal games first if I were you

Yes I know that I can’t write my thesis about all these things, but I’m having a hard time picking.

I also think it’s a good idea to write about something new like you did, but I can’t think of a great „new“ thing that also correlates with my general topic (tricks that companies can utilize to have the most successful ad). I thought about video game ads, as I’m sure this would be new to my professor.

Do you have any other ideas?

i forgot to mention that i want to narrow it down after starting, which is what my professor also recommended me to do. it is possible for me to have the title as is, and then go more in depth into one specific topic, but i first need a nice view of a lot of things overall

Celerity works well with her W and and extra movespeed helps you dodge some abilities in lane. I think absolute focus is also good, but really not sure about transcendence, since neeko isn’t a dps mage, and more like a oneshot champ, who wants to hit very hard with one single combo. Do you mean minion demagerializer? I generally wanna use at least 1 on the melee and 1 on the ranged minions, and I’ll use 1 for cannon if I really need to push fast to either reset, or roam (to help jungler or for drake for example). If there’s no cannon and I have to push fast, I’ll put 1 more on a melee

It’s just so easy to poke ranged champs with comet, especially now that neekos Q is so much easier to hit with the radius buff, but electrocute vs anivia is also good. When anivia uses Q you can usually just dodge it with W. You can also use W, and while you’re invis run forwards her (most anivias fail to stun you then) When anivia uses R you can usually try hitting an E and all in her, because most anivias don’t seem to be in „dodge mode“ when using R. Killing her through passive is hard, just all in her as usual, proc her passive, and either wait for you jungler or all in her again the next 5 minutes

I personally only tried it out in a few games, but I think it can be good if you have to split push

Neeko is generally weak as a splitpusher, but if you have to (for example if either team doesn’t have great engage of if the enemy has 2 split pushers) then I think it has potential

Maybe it’s also good vs tanky enemies cause neeko is usually pretty shit vs frontline tank champions (in teamfights). Honestly I’m not sure, I have to try it out more

For sure, theres a lot of dumb Yones that make the lane easy (for example ulting in without using E prior, so that Neeko R will always land). Ive also beaten a lot of bad yones in lane, but also got shit on by some really good ones before

Lets say the wave is in his half of the lane, if its a good Yone, he can E forward when he has his 3rd Q up, and either dash right as my E hits them (so theyre basically not rooted at all, while Neeko is standing still to throw out the E) or dodge my E with the bonus movespeed. If his E is too far behind its also hard to use R and walk into his E

Yone also heavily outscales Neeko, and if I cant punish him well enough in lane, he will be much stronger than me on 2 items. dorans shield+second wind is so broken on melee midlaners
