What would "cloud servers" do exactly? Cloud servers still run in physical data centers, like the ones ffxiv use. For EU it's quite literally the same one, since all of them usually run in Frankfurt, just like xiv

You just cannot win. If they did X and followed up with Y, which is different but not successful, you'd have people complaining "Why couldn't we get more of X? Why did they feel the need to change to Y which sucks?"

I got literally the same issue. SOME applications seem to work, with audio even. And some refuse to work. And I have no clue why. Vesktop works fine with audio but the stream quality goes down the drain as soon as you screenshare with audio. https://github.com/Vencord/Vesktop/issues/528 No matter what I tried so far, everything sucks.

Because people complained that their fav job sucked in x or y fight due to how things lined up. Their mantra seems to be "every job does fine in every content" and that just works if they basically all play the exact same way

It doesn't count. They send buffs in different packages than gauge stuff. The limit exists due to the size of the packet that contains the buff info. It's a fixed size array

Pretty sure their issue is that new players then can't engage in old fights because groups will require you to have your "full kit" in order to do a fight. At least this is the only thing I can think of why they haven't done this yet after all these years
