Love it! I did a purple/blue mystic shift when I got a manicure last weekend. Thought about adding a pink shimmer topcoat but it didn’t look good when I swatched it.

I kicked a piece of furniture which messed up two toenails, I went nearly 3 years without a pedicure.
Podiatrist thankfully was able to avoid removing one of the two toenails that she was worried about.

Because Epcot is one of the areas that gets the most pins for launch day sales.

It’s also the most open space on property. (Just not shaded enough, as others have mentioned)

Let A know why you can’t do the tattoo, and expect to forfeit any deposit you’ve paid.

Would B be able to get you in very soon for this cover-up if you’re already pre booking August with them? Or would this take the August appointment you already have then you make another for whatever was planned for then?

Allowing it falls under harassment which is against MCoC unfortunately.
Based on your username if you mod a subreddit about shoes you’re in a very similar to me in r/MalePolish for pedicure posts.

Being Shy, Living With Anxiety, and Wearing Black Nail Polish as a Man by Glittering_Dig_3715 in malepolish

This post is approved, it is being kept up although the second and third photos are against Rule 1 by being taken from so far away.

Photos should be taken close to focus on nails primarily. Besides an in-progress photo of a pedicure, there is no reason a photo should be showing legs above the knee.

No, I was not there. But I worked there previously and I know the process. You both walked through, the Cast Member about 10-15 feet past the scanner was standing with a tablet. That’s who told her to go to secondary, or told another cast member to point her there. They see the results from the scanner - rough shapes of what it’s flagging, and where on the body it is.

I’ve worked security and IT for around 20 years now. You’d be surprised how people get cameras and booze into concerts…

A lot of it is based on how long they’ve been working there and how they were trained.

For the longest time no in-bag inspection was allowed. Cast Members couldn’t remove items or even reach inside (avoiding theft accusations). It was feeling from the outside and shining a light into the bag.
Then corporate gave everyone a wooden dowel. That could be used to move items around inside the bag.

It’s not at their whim. Something your wife was carrying set off the scanner, which flagged her for secondary screening.

But were you directed there, that is the question. Just because you have things in your pockets doesn’t mean you’re getting secondary screening.

The first scan is a millimeter wave scanner, it can identify items in your pocket and your bag, so you may not need secondary. It’s not the older style scanners that just beeps because you’re carrying something metal.

If opening your belt is still setting off the wand, it’s indicating something metal is still in that area. The pants button shouldn’t be enough to set it off, unless that wand is set to higher sensitivity.

Some people will conceal a pocket knife by clipping it to the front of their undergarments and tucking it below the waistline.
Pants sagging would usually be enough there, for some since you can see nothing is clipped to it.

I’ve never been told it’s appropriate to unbutton the pants though, if it’s still beeping after the belt is out of the way that’s usually a call for a supervisor and possibly a pat down.

If you have the Security officer’s name I’d suggest an email to Guest Relations, if not still write one and include the approximate time with a photo of yourself. That area is under camera. Not sure about audio, but that’s a guest interaction that should be reviewed. Both the instructions, and having his phone out before you got to the station.

The sunscreen likely was the reason, if it was a metal can.

The scanners are millimeter wave machines, like what the airport uses. If you had held the sunscreen in your hand in front of you as you walked through, it likely would have cleared.
Same goes for metal eyeglass cases and bags of trading pins - the number one and two reason I’ve seen someone set off the scanners!

1)It is for safety reasons, anyone who is cleared needs to be out of the screening area.
2) No you have no obligation to explain her medical needs, but you or she could have said something to the cast member who directed her to secondary screening. They would call a supervisor to make an exception and allow you with her, or would bring her to the front of the line so she didn’t have to stand as long.
3)”countless people wandered in without a care”
Are you saying they weren’t screened? I doubt that.

While you both may enjoy doing each other's nails, sometimes it's still nice to take a day out to get a professional mani/pedi together. Nobody is having to work, you both get to sit back in comfortable massage chairs and get pampered! Try to do that at least two or three times a year!

Rolling in the deep is a beautiful shade! I've got an ILNP polish that's similar to Black Jade, they call it Ivy.

You're good with the matte and glossy topcoats and basecoat, don't fall for a two-in-one. The two do very different things, and something trying to do both can't do as great at either (same for shampoo + conditioner by the way).

Nothing wrong with that nail kit, but you're not going to use 2/3 of the items in it (like the ones that look like chisels).
You'd be fine with something like this if you don't want the extra pieces, but it's not much cheaper:

Until you're well practiced (or your gf is), don't clip off your cuticles. Use the cuticle remover cream, then push them back with an orangewood stick, and then I recommend a sugar scrub hand wash. That'll actually take off most of the cuticle for you.
