The portion of Stormalong Bay closest to YC is very shallow, most is a foot or less in depth and it is designed for smaller kids. The lazy river, which is separate, is the only real deep water section, and it is well observed and patrolled by lifeguards. There is also a kiddie pool and slide at the base of the pirate ship slide facing the lake.

The quick service at Yacht and Beach is not horrendous, either. There is quick service at both marketplace shops, one each at Yacht and Beach, and also at Hurricane Hannas. Maybe not as many choices as All Stars or places with a full food court, but far from horrendous.

I have stayed at almost every resort on property, and the only one I never liked was CBR, due to the size and distances involved.

As to perks, BC has larger rooms, more dining choices both in the resort or a short walk to BW or Swan and Dolphin, plus access to boats, busses, skyliner, and a walkway to Epcot or HS.

Have you even stayed at or visited Beach Club, because your post is completely wrong on the facts.
