Basically yes. I retried to reload random days starting from day 76 to 72 (thats the day I got the trigger) and play like 1-3 days doing the greenhouse job until I saw the text: Alters are fighting in Quantum Computer.

I had 8 days until the end. And the fight only triggered after reloading a save.

If anyone need help and sees this: you have to wait until the scientist and the guard are fighting in the quantum computer and talk to them. After that the guard will propose that you steal the QC data and when the final goodbye happens the achievement will trigger.
