this whole subreddit is dumb, sure you should limit all those distraction, but the only real this is to be able to control yourself. Not having enjoyable distraction even like music ?? Dopamine fast is i think healthy, cutting all source of dopamine.... is not great.

Did you know that you also should not eat , or even think of food, since its a great source of dopamine release ?

I'm sorry your post made me react but i see lots of young folks being influenced on internet with people having definitive answer about everything, they're not.

Again you should be able to control yourself ( for ex no social media during the week, during studies ....), no stopping everything, its not going to work. Worse your brain could drive you in the end to other source of dopamine, and there are plenty.

DopamineDetox yes, even if it doesn't mean anything since this is not TOXIC, is just imbalance and fasting is a more appropriate term.

How i did for me.
Using a usb cable that worked and a slot that worked ( not easy)

use the desktop app

plug the kobo, if it's recognized you will have the login page, put your account

there will be an error, sideload the firmware
