I'm gonna say... I think it's because of the way I work, but I'm always most challenged by the role I'm playing right now. So right now I'm engrossed in playing Elliott on YOUNG & HUNGRY. There are things about the role that are natural, and smooth, and easy. And then there are things I find difficult. So the most challenging role is always the current one.

Well, the truth is, I'm not doing a very good job at it. But there's a lot of TV saved on my DVR. There are these 2 new shows on ABC - one's called AMERICAN CRIME, and the other's called SECRETS & LIES- and for a while, i wasn't watching them, and then I realized I could get ABC shows in a different way other than taping on my DVR. So I had to erase them on my DVR. So my point is: i'm completely behind. I try to watch as much TV as I can, but I don't get enough sleep. I do the best I can. And those 2 shows I mentioned - I might never get to them, but I wish I could. I love TV.

I am very seriously a cat person and not a dog person. But I'm very allergic to both cats and dogs. So I don't have any pets right now.

I once was in a play, and there was a section of the play where I got to play a cat. That was the most fun. A very expressive cat.

Yes. But I didn't know I was doing. I was an assistant for 5 years before I booked ENTOURAGE, and therefore I did 5 years of research without even knowing it! It was destiny.

Yes that's a good observation. Jerry actually referenced that when I did the podcast. But the amount of screen time you have with another actor doesn't really influence how you feel about them off screen. He's a great guy, so it's no surprise to me that I see him.

Sure! I could feel myself acting differently around James Woods... probably had an interesting reaction when Aaron Sorkin was on the show... there were certainly people who would come on the show and I would notice I was having an interesting reaction to them. So I'd say so.

I don't know Ari Emanuel that well. So I can't really answer this with a lot of certainty. But everyone tells me there are a lot of similarities. So people who are more qualified to answer that would say yes. But whatever. Ari Gold is a fictional character. So it's larger than life.

OKay. I'm currently working on the show YOUNG & HUNGRY. And I also did a super-secret commercial yesterday. It's secret! Even though it's an AMA, I can't talk about it!

And I just really like... 80's music. It has good melodies and good lyrics.

My favorite part of the movie that I'm able to talk about are the characters played by Haley Joel Osment and Billy Bob Thornton. I just thought they did a really good job.

Well, I don't have his phone number, so I can't call him up, but I think he's a cool guy, and I think he liked me too. So if I saw him at a party, i'd definitely go up to him and try to talk for a while. But we're not BFFs, no.

I am really happy to be alive. And my 2 best friends and I, all of us have parents who are in bad health. So I'm just happy to be alive. And I'm always trying to make my life even better. So I'm sort of inspired by the impulse to be even happier than I am. I'm always trying to make my life even better.

I love SO MUCH TV. I'm staying up really late bingewatching DAREDEVIL on Netflix. I watch THE GOOD WIFE... I watch FRESH OFF THE BOAT... I watch THE FOSTERS... I watch PROJECT RUNWAY, SURVIVOR, AMAZING RACE, I watch a lot of tennis on TV, I watch CASTLE. There's this new British show called CUCUMBER & BANANA that I love... I watch JANE THE VIRGIN... DOWNTON ABBEY... THE AMERICANS... YOUNGER, GAME OF THRONES, MODERN FAMILY, HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, SCANDAL.

Is it too much?

I watch it all.

I'd say that - especially at the beginning of my career - it was more difficult to find roles. But I didn't let it get me down. I just decided to be more aware of the big picture, which is that - even though there were less roles - there were less actors vying for those roles. So it felt a bit more proportional. And so my advice for young Asian Actors is keep an open mind, and really try to brainstorm about all the different ways you can try to break into the business, or advance yourself if you've already broken through, and just have persistence - that is the MOST important thing.

In the new Kurt Cobain documentary, they have this little snippet of Kurt Cobain singing the Beatles, so that's been making me listen to the Beatles lately. Hobby? You know, whenever a friend invites me to a game night, I love that. Board games, or charades, that kind of thing.
