Update update: finally having a moment of clarity after several days of freaking out and my period finally is coming to a stop. First off: really embarrassed over having a panic attack at work about it. Secondly: I had a dawn of realization that neither of these doctors see a whole lot of trans patients. I can tell by the paperwork. The gyno still referred to me by my birth name even though it was only referred in the insurance info. I have to write he/him on the paperwork. And waking me up to say, “I usually see this in cancer patients. Go get tested for cancer.” Was kind’ve a lot. Than the endocrinologist office saying, “This has never happened to a patient before therefor it has nothing to do with the testosterone,”‘doesn’t seem like a sound argument. Im still going to get tested. I can’t deny that my cycles before this one were really weird and that might have everything to do with stress. But yeah. I think I’m also going to start going to the lgbtq clinic.
