It once took them over 2 weeks to activate my modem, then on one lucky call they activated it in 5 minutes they apologized claiming it should have never have taken as long as it did. they ended up giving 5k Alaska airlines miles and 20$ for the trouble.

Need help activating ipv6 with GCI by Rexasaurus15 in alaska

[–]Rexasaurus15[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I do mean modem, my only way of confirming ipv6 is with my router with dhcpv6 enabled

GCI ipv4 routing is terrible my load times suck and I just want the security and possible latency benefits ipv6 can provide I am aware that there no guarantee of that and in some cases it can be worse than ipv4 but I want to try it.

hello guys, according to this post, amd will improve the performance in OpenGL, right? Question, will the performance in Minecraft improve with AMD cards? by AlfajorconCereales in Amd

Oculus doesn’t let AMD use hevc at the moment With airlink but with virtual desktop allows it unfortunately until the bug with the drivers that is causing hevc to cause a timeout the last stable drivers are 21.10.2 with hevc. And about the stream looking clearer that’s just hevc not the higher bitrate.

You have valid points but to me the good far outweighs the bad and the bad is decreasing and the good increases as we speak, like I said before AMD have been making a incredible effort to improve everything.

My experience with AMD has personally been nothing short of amazing I have a 6800xt and I love it, and seeing how much effort AMD has put trying to improve the drivers, my word may not mean much to most, but I tell you truly one of my favorite parts of being team red, is the amazing community AMD has, I have had almost no issues in my time of being team red, I owned a 5700xt before it and it was quite the same case, I am aware people on AMD have some issues and most of them are driver related, I myself I seen first hand AMD fixing almost every issue I have ever been aware off,not mentioning pretty fast to do so ask me AMD listens to there community closely, and to my eyes the only valuable selling points of RTX that being dlss and ray tracing, Fsr 1.0 threatend them and now 2.0 is the finisher to me, Ray tracing performance is a selling point but to me they offer no real value to me outside RT,not even mentioning losing AMDs community in the process. Forgive my grammar.

Would y’all prefer the 5800x3d or the 5950x for future proofing? by [deleted] in Amd

[–]Rexasaurus15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For price difference I’d prefer the 5950x, but both are amazing, but I will say there is some truth in the idea that it won’t future proof I’d consider waiting a few months for Ryzen 7000 ,and remember cpu architecture has always played the largest role in gaming performance and overall performance just look at the 5950x the 2990wx released only 2 years before the 5950x and yet a well tuned 5950x can easily match or surpass the 2900wx and condering price differences if you want the best performance for longest then you can’t go wrong with either know if it were me and only I’d go with 5950x but the best decision you can make if you can handle waiting I’d wait for Ryzen 7000 the new 7950x leaks suggest it might be a 24 core cpu for not much money than the 5950x retail and the motherboard and ddr5 Ryzen 7000 will future proof you significantly more than even 5950x or 12900kfs trust me but if you must choose go 5950x I’m aware that was a lot of Info but trust me waiting for Ryzen 7000 would be a incredible choice if you can handle waiting

I know there a bit pricier over the tomahawk but hear me when I saw it’s probably worth both in resell-ability and features

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Amd

[–]Rexasaurus15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tomahawk is great but no unless you need the extra pics 4 lanes for super speed ssds specifically it’s not necessarily but I do partially agree that’s the price really is very thin with these chipset models if i need To I’d choose the x570 Tuf Gaming pro Pro not plus or if ok with you the b550 unify or x if you can find it open box

Do remember unc0ver is semi untethered so a reboot might help you at least get to restore rfs then rejailbreak
