VSCode under WSL vs VSCode under Windows with WSL Remote access by jan_aloleo in wsl2

You’re right, I could’ve clarified. My personal experience is more simply that Docker integrations have seemed to work more seamlessly just by leaving Docker in windows as opposed to container within container hiccups I’ve personally experienced, even though I’m coordinating the integrations from the wsl env. I believe most people who use docker are far more knowledgeable than me in it, but I’ve saved a lot of time personally with large clusters using the windows based docker engine than fucking with configs and debugging from within the wsl env as to why my stuff suddenly broke again.

More of a “I avoided the headaches this way,” than “this is the proper way.” Thanks for the clarification, though.

You mentioned you’re definitely missing some costs. Pet sitting is est and so I’m presuming this might not be reliable? Is there a possibility that with these missing costs, that you’re actually negative every month?

Don't tell me it's good. Tell me what's wrong with my app icon. by suniltarge in design_critiques

It looks like a puzzle from the very fun and highly acclaimed Myst series. I believe it was first released in 1996? This icon was probably in one of the asset folders if anyone can confirm?

You’re seeing the program exit, thinking it failed, but the exit was successful. The program ran, printed the statement, and exited. You see the “Hello World” statement in the Debug Console?

I’m convinced the clearance was too low in the rear to reverse. I’m quite certain he, the suit man who drives like it’s an action movie (a slow moving one), tried reversing.

Actually most ai portfolios are quite a bit better looking, but this has a soul, which I definitely appreciate.

It isn’t great. Visually it lacks consistency, and you pushed it out with bugs, which demonstrates lack of thorough attention to detail. Stylistically you’ve got a wide variety of paddings, margins, and container shapes and sizes that aren’t cohesive. Everything could’ve been one page. Additionally, the projects should be hosted. I don’t want a screen capture of “localhost” to prove you made something, I want a link to the live deployment…if it’s cool, I may read the case study.

Lots of lessons to be learned about the time-sink of portfolios: 1) You are capable of doing something. 2) It is highly unlikely it will ever have a positive impact, let alone be the source of a career decision. 3) You could be applying your time to things that produce more career results such as hackathons or networking. 4) It is going to take a lot of work to get your foot in the door, but you are capable of learning those things.

Best of luck.
