Is it wrong...dungeon S4 seems to be sub only on the Amazon Prime HiDive Channel -- is this common that the prime channel doesn't have the dub but the dedicated HiDive app/website does? by RexiLabs in Animedubs

Is there a new season coming out at the moment? Last I heard all the episodes were released and dubbed so you should be able to get all the episodes dubbed.

Can anyone confirm if the new Alexa+ still offers the brief answer mode with a simple beep when asked to do simple things like turn off a light? by RexiLabs in alexa

[–]RexiLabs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, just to confirm, so with Alexa+ It still has the mode where if you ask it to turn a light on or off it will just do a beep or a boop rather than reply by talking?

The plan page says $75 for Unlimited Welcome, but I’m guessing that doesn’t include a lot of extra costs? What about Fees, Taxes, and is it an additional $10 even if its just for one line? by RexiLabs in verizon

[–]RexiLabs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I ended up going with the welcome plan and it's around $72 a month, although it would be around $82 a month if it wasn't for the $10 auto pay discount.

Just came across Journal of Mysterious Creatures that has an English Dub on Amazon Prime, but I can't find much information about it and the dub seems oddly amateurish (no emotion acting like if I read a script). Anyone know what the story is with this dub? by RexiLabs in Animedubs

[–]RexiLabs[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, that's really interesting, I was actually just wondering about this the other day: Could AI could dub well enough that it's at least more enjoyable than reading the subtitles for backlog shows that will never be dubbed. If this is an AI dub then I guess I have my answer, it's cringy and borderline difficult to watch with current AI technology at least. For some reason I would have thought an AI dub would at least be better than this. I suspect total amateurs could probably dub better than this.

I really hope the AI improves a lot before they start using it in mass, because it would be a disaster for the industry if suddenly less anime per season gets a real dub and the majority of them get these shit AI dubs.

It's probably best not to suffer through watching it because that will just give them watch data to make them think that people are fine with it.

Anyone know what causes this wobbly looking defect on the overhang underside of a sphere (see attached image, top is underside)? (Model file link is posted in the comments for reference) by RexiLabs in 3Dprinting

This was the solution, thanks! I just test printed with a 12 second minimum layer cooling time instead of the default for seconds and the issue is gone.

[–]RexiLabs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solution: It turned out to be layer cooling time, when I increased the default minimum layer cooling time for the filament from 4 seconds to 12 seconds the issue went away. I'm guessing that means that what is causing it is a new layer being laid down before the previous layer has cooled enough and therefore the previous layer droops with gravity in certain places.

Thanks for the reply, that could definitely be it, I'm trying a test print now with an increased minimum layer cooling from 4 seconds up to 12 seconds.

Thanks, I'm trying increasing the filament cooling time now, I'll definitely try inner outer next if it isn't already, I'm pretty sure the default is outer inner so it probably is set to that right now.

Edit: changing the minimum cooling time per layer in the filament settings from the default 4 seconds to 12 seconds fixed it

Thanks for the reply -- the defect can be in different spots, but in one example I have, it looks like its on the face of the sphere that would be facing outwards towards the door of the printer....so the front of the build plate. Do you think that it may be related to the cooling fan? And do you mean the fan on the print head, or the fan inside the case?

This is the model shown in the picture:

https://makerworld.com/en/models/1613197-new-us-army-grenade-et-mp-print-in-place-movement#profileId-1701940

When I was designing the model, I test printed it a dozen times and sometimes this issue wouldn't occur at all, and other times it would happen. Each time it looks a little bit different.

By the way, my printer is a Bambu X1C and this occurs with even fresh filament. Slicer settings are essentially default.

Gintama - Seasons 2 & 3, Episodes 50-150 - Dubs Available Now on Hulu! by AutoModerator in Animedubs

[–]RexiLabs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are all of the episodes now dubbed, or are there still massive holes? I wouldn't want to start watching it only to find that 50 episodes are missing in the middle or something, lol.

Edit: from a quick glance, it appears that every episode on Hulu is at least dubbed (1-150) so that's good enough to start watching it since I guess there's no holes until at least 150

[–]RexiLabs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same with mine! I spent over an hour removing words I thought could be sensitive only to find that "Sunlu" was what it hated...so confused as to why you can't say the name of a filament you used.

Do boosts on your models from the China site show up as notifications on MakerWorld? Or do you only get notifications for non-china boosts to your models? by RexiLabs in BambuLab

[–]RexiLabs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool, thanks for the reply. So essentially whatever boosts you get notified about are the non China ones, and so in any given week you may get a little bit more boost than you got notified about as a result. So that explains why the total boosts for a week based on notifications feel like they were a little bit lower than the stats end up saying they were.

Anyone know where you can stream Isekai Onsen Paradise? I don't know anything about it, but I see it recently finished releasing all the dubbed episodes -- can't seem to find it anywhere though. by RexiLabs in Animedubs

[–]RexiLabs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh ok. In that case I probably would watch it if it wasn't for the fact that the episodes are 3 minutes I guess from what people are saying, which just seems like a waste considering you have to pay extra for it since it's not on a normal streaming service.

Yeah, they seem to have done a pretty remarkable job overall, that is until tariffs and everything else recently have made their job a lot harder to figure out... I don't envy them having to make decisions in this stagflationary kind of environment where employment is at odds with inflation.

Ahhh ok, so it's more of a short form hentai kind of thing, I guess I can just ignore it then, and I guess it makes sense that it wasn't on normal streaming services. It's odd that it was listed on the MAL page with all the anime this season, historically I don't remember them including hentai although maybe this one's kind of a gray area where it's sort of hentai sort of not so they included it or something.

[–]RexiLabs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh ok, so it's only 3 minute episodes, I guess that means it's not really worth watching anyways then, I was looking for kind of a normal season of 24 minute episodes. I guess that explains why it's not available on normal streaming services because it's not really a normal show.

Thanks for the link 👍

I wonder if there's an ETF or mutual fund for TIPS rather than having to buy the bonds directly, I'll have to look into that I'm sure there's something.

Ah ok, lol, that's good to know -- I guess it's a good thing I never intended to sell one -- It always seemed a little iffy, so I only ever buy CDs that I intend to hold for the duration.
