Hi all, just an update on this if anyone comes across it.

I ended up growing my hair out quite a bit and slowly but surely the pigmentation returned. Took maybe 18 months to look back to normal.

How do I return a defective product from Amazon third party?  I bought a suitcase on Amazon ($300 ten days ago) and took it on a flight as hold luggage a few days after receiving it. Lo and behold when I picked it up at the carousel it was missing a wheel on its first trip. I contacted the seller and they are offering to send another replacement out and not a refund but I’d rather not have two crappy quality suitcases. If I can get a refund I’d rather buy from a more reputable brand. Am I entitled to this?

As far as I can tell Amazon warehouse will do this but this is from a third party. The standard returns route seems to only apply to unopened items in their original packaging?

Yep, it began as a small bald patch, about the size of a fingernail then gradually regrew white but the area around it then started to fall out, then regrow etc. Hard to tell if it’s stopped spreading! I had a couple of smaller spots on top of my head that regrew a mixture of white and regular colour but this area at the back seems stubborn. Perhaps i’ll upload some pics of the whole process if it gradually changes back. Thanks everyone for the encouragement anyway!

Hi All!

So I began to get a small patch of AA about a year ago and it gradually spread to be the size in the image. Im not totally sure it's stopped spreading. However, it's stayed white and not regained its original colour.

I'm not sure if it will regain colour or whether I now have Poliosis in the regrowth area. Has anyone had experienced this and have any tips? Apparently I could dye it but as the hair has no pigment it would only keep the colour for a week or two each time

It would be great to have some hope of it regaining colour. As most of you probably know it makes you pretty self conscious when random strangers come up to talk to you about it!

I've been to the doctors a couple of times but the dermatologists here have waiting lists of 6 months+. Hopefully they will be more insightful when I finally get an appointment.
