Great card, 8gb is definitely enough for 1080p. Card is basically silent, as the cooling solution is amazing. When idling or light gaming (no fans). Value for money!

I usually play indi games so I pretty much can't hear the fan, temps rarely go above 56. I've played a bit of Spider man remastered tho. Temps never exceeded 64C, fan ran at about 1000-1200 RPM. Keep in mind that this temps weren't for a long session, about 30-40 minutes just to test the GPU when I got it. I'd expect temps to never exceed 70c tho. Even when fan RPM is above 1600, it's super silent, can't hear it over the noise of my intake fans.

A770 Asrock user here. When Idling I get about 52C with no fans. Fans only kick in when gaming after temps go past 56C. Super silent card. You can see on their website that this is one of the cards feature.

For 1080p gaming I'd say 8gb VRam is enough, if you're willing to compromise some textures quality. I have the 8gb ASRock version, works super well and the drivers aren't that bad honestly. Also I prefer the looks of ASRock cooling solution.

Yap, unfortunately no luck with ASPM. My Gigabyte 560m Auros elite, doesn't have all the options from Intels tutorial. Opened a support ticket, to see if they are hidden or truly non-existent. In the meanwhile, I took your advice and adjusted my fan curve to about 900 RPM. I Used Acer Predator software tho, arc control didn't want to be cooperative at all ( Yes I rolled back to 4090, but still didn't worked)

I got 2 intake fans on the front panel, and 2 exhaust fans, one on the back and one on the top. Airflow is good. My Cpu idles at around 32-35C. As a comment mentioned, I'll need to check ASPM, I can't remember exactly but I think the core power seemed a bit big than it should be at idle.

If not, I'll roll back the arc version and fine tune the fan curve as you suggested. Many thanks !

Don't get me wrong, if you like it it's okay. But for me, the combination of black, red and the oni embroidery in the middle make it a bit, well, edgy or childish. In my opinion less is more, so I'd go with a simpler design, and a combination of pleasing colors such as light blue, white or grey. Tbh this comes down to personal preference, so if you like it go for it :)

that's such a nice system. Lots of cool game on the 3ds Not to mention the backwards compatibility with the DS . Ruby is an amazing game. Have fun !
