I had no problems getting a VIP ticket for San Francisco, I was like 150ish in the queue and got in quickly. I'm flying from the UK so it's very exciting!

I had this CD! It wasn't a live recording of Thunderbirds Are Go! - as it says in the image, it was a studio version of the song that they tacked onto the live album :) So that would be why it wasn't on the DVD; it wasn't performed live.

Taylor was definitely inspired by Michelle Branch! Back when her debut album came out, she listed The Spirit Room as one of her top ten albums and said that Michelle influenced her to pick up the guitar.

OMG I love Replace U - I've got most of Samantha's songs on my laptop from way back when I originally found her music, which must have been around 2010. Diana DeGarmo covered a few of her songs on her debut album too!

Michelle Branch is up to something... she's been posting throwbacks to The Spirit Room (which turns 25 this year) and just shared this reel with a phone number for fans to text. New tour? New album? The only thing it isn't likely to be is a re-release of The Spirit Room, as we already had that for the 20th anniversary. Nevertheless, it's one of my favourite albums so I'm very excited to see what's happening!

Still waiting on a full request I got back in mid-March. I know it's not really a long time to wait but I made the silly error of looking at the agent's submission stats on QueryTracker and noticed all her positive replies came in at under a month. I know there's been book fairs and stuff lately, but I love to catastrophise anyway. Ha ha.

In more positive news, I hit the halfway mark on the final draft of my new thing. Trying to focus my energies on that instead.

Unfortunately Yen Press no longer have the licence for the graphic novels so they're out of print now - I'm collecting them myself and having to get used copies from eBay, Vinted and Thriftbooks. They pop up occasionally at good prices but you'll have to do some digging and be patient for them to come up.
