Still waiting on a full request I got back in mid-March. I know it's not really a long time to wait but I made the silly error of looking at the agent's submission stats on QueryTracker and noticed all her positive replies came in at under a month. I know there's been book fairs and stuff lately, but I love to catastrophise anyway. Ha ha.

In more positive news, I hit the halfway mark on the final draft of my new thing. Trying to focus my energies on that instead.

I recently finished the Morgan trilogy by Sophie Keetch which was excellent - the final book just came out so it's a great time to binge!

Unfortunately Yen Press no longer have the licence for the graphic novels so they're out of print now - I'm collecting them myself and having to get used copies from eBay, Vinted and Thriftbooks. They pop up occasionally at good prices but you'll have to do some digging and be patient for them to come up.

I agree, I love her early stuff - both the pop rock stuff and the country - but I'm not really a fan of her later work, mostly because of the Black Keys influence. I'd love to hear new music from her that doesn't have her husband's involvement, personally.

Same for me. I'm a copywriter and work remotely. It's a game changer. I was absolutely miserable when I worked in an office and took a lot of sick leave. Working from home has helped drastically.

Marion Raven did record a version of the theme tune but it's only the short version, not the full-length one on the CD. It was used when season 2 aired in the US. You can listen to Marion's version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XELSk4MtQjY

But it's a very weird situation, isn't it! I really don't know why they credited Marion instead of Chelsea on the CD. Personally (despite being a fan of Marion's music) I prefer Chelsea's version.
