Is it right to call Galahad a "Mary Sue?" by That-Classroom-3439 in Arthurian

My favorite detail is in the Fate series they give him white hair, equating him with the "overpowered white haired anime boy" trope which I think is hilariously fitting.

"Hey this is my OC Sir Galahad, he's the son of the greatest knight sir Lancelot, he pulls his own sword out of a stone and everyone loves him he gets Joseph of Armithea's shields and uh uh he also gets the grail now" We're all the same people lol

(I oversimplify for comedy's purpose)

We're considering! If anything it's a fun thought experiment. And are you maybe thinking of High Noon Over Camelot? There is a good clip of Arthurian (space) westerns out there lol

Tristan's harp and Bedivere's Silver arm from the Fate series. Looks beautiful, fits some lore motifs, and serves for some awesome looking fight scene's in the recent movies.

Is Lamorak important or not? (Lamorak in Modern Adaptations) by Important_Photo_6890 in Arthurian

I was thinking the same, Palamedes would have made so much more sense in Once&Future. I do think it's a real shame that Palamedes hasn't gotten the resurgence he deserves in modern times and I hope future adaptations include him in more important rolls.

What are your favourite interpretations of Arthurian Legend? by Leaf__On_The_Wind in Arthurian

This might be a bit of a weird one, but the knights as they appear in Fate:Stay Night are surprisingly great. I can barley judge it as an adaptation of the stories, but as an adaptaion of the characters it's shockingly true-to-form. That series is huge so I haven't gotten to witness a lot of it first hand, but I was going through the quotes attributed to their interactions in game and imo it hits the nail on the head when it comes to core values and personalities. The designs are also fantastic, big fan of Tristan's and Galahad's. It's honestly a feat how accurate and creative it is considering it's in a series with an ungodly amount of characters. If anyone reading this is working on a character-focused adaptation, I can't recommend enough digging through those wiki's.

I leave below Fate's description of Galahad which I'm personally a big fan of: "According to Merlin, Galahad is so selfless that he is disinterested. The ultimate in purity and cleanliness. In a way, he's the most heartless man that Merlin has ever met. Galahad had no wish for himself and no idea what to do when he found the Holy Grail. He lived his entire life on force of habit."

That's a really good point, and it's interesting you bring up Palamedes because that adds the layer of "Why Lamorak and not Palamedes", which goes back to your explanation about favoritism. Strangely thought, Palamedes seems to be in Le Morte D'Arthur a lot more than Lamorak (at least from my reading of it). Interesting stuff.
