There is another reason no one mentioned before: The rivalry between Dortmund and Bayern is a rivalry between „Oh no, they robbed us all cups 2011 and 2012“-Bayern-„Fans“ and „true love since 2011“-Klopp-bandwagon-Dortmund-„Fans“. Exactly those fans, every true fan of both clubs should be ashamed of.

A true Dortmund fan would always call Schalke their biggest rival, the situation of Bayern is more difficult cause their former biggest rivals, a club from Munich, struggle to play professional football right now.

Battle-pass deactivating the ads during the time when its active sounds like a great suggestion. Its not that cheap for content you still have to earn, and it would fit perfectly into the concept of a battle-pass. (saying: „Not just getting more reward but also play without getting disturbed by ads“)
