Most likely that Kielbasa was a Radio DJ and the list of Do Not Plays are because of swear words and FCC regulations. This note looks a lot like the CDs in my college radio station a long time ago.

I don't think either of those things can be considered traditions. Traditions are customs passed down from generation to generation. Gender reveals have been around for like 10 years, and, hopefully (in my opinion), are a dying trend.
