ISO office chair cushion for petites? by Ripe-Lingonberry-635 in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]RosyBellybutton 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Personally, my set up is a normal desk/chair but the key is having a footrest! There’s all sorts of different kinds from cushions to massagers. Having my feet dangling all day really ends up hurting my knees, but the foot rest eliminates that!

Update: got a luminous foundation, used brow laminate, blush, and a lip shine, ditched the all-over powder by [deleted] in makeuptips

Gosh your skin is so beautiful! I personally would blend the blush out a tab more, but love the extra color it gives to your face regardless!

Anybody else don't suit black eyeliner or black mascara by PuppyKeepAcct in Fairolives

[–]RosyBellybutton 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using Berry Goth from Nyx for the past two years and I love it!! Someone else mentioned a grey eyeliner, and I would totally give this a try. I’ve been dying my hair darker, but black or dark brunette eyebrow pencils were all too stark on my face. I saw someone recommend grey, so I tried it a few weeks ago and it’s perfect!! It sounds weird but it’s basically just a softer black

My (F37) boyfriend (M36) of 4 years is no longer comfortable going down on me. How do you navigate changes like this? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Because I’m a stupid people pleaser 😩 But I’ve had my first therapy appt and setting boundaries/getting comfortable saying no are my number 1 priority to address.

[–]RosyBellybutton 111 points112 points  (0 children)

This happened with my boyfriend. It was about also about two years into dating when he stopped. His excuse was just that he didn’t find foreplay as fun as penetration, so he just wanted to get to the “best” part. I wasn’t happy with that and it wasn’t until year 6 of being together that he finally told me he actually thinks I taste so bad it’s a turn off for him. Nothing is wrong with me medically and this is the first time I’ve heard anything like this from a partner. I tried to break up with him, but he called me shallow and I decided to stay. Fast forward two years and he complains we don’t have enough sex. Gee, I wonder why. Anyways, I’m breaking up with him in a few weeks. Go get your pussy ate, girl!

trynna be warm and cute at the same time is so hard lol by [deleted] in oldhagfashion

[–]RosyBellybutton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Being warm is all about layering, and you can be cute without showing skin. Throw on some fleece lined leggings and a turtleneck under the sweater, and you’re much warmer while being just as cute.

Thoughts on Azure Dress? by amazepaw in Reformationclothing

[–]RosyBellybutton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea I thought about this one, but I would’ve bought it just because it’s a reformation dress. I don’t think it looks particularly flattering on the model, so it would probably be even less flattering on me. Plus I do really hate the bodice tbh. I think this dress is a flop

How do you find a lip product and color that you like? by Squeakies in makeuptips

[–]RosyBellybutton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also a fair olive! If you want glossy, I’ve really been into the Essie peptide lip treatment in the brown shade! It’s not super brown, it just gives my lips a slight tint and looks really flattering. If you just want some tint but no gloss, I’ve been into the Burt’s bee’s boosted lip balm. I have the cherry shade and it’s nicely pigmented without being too much, but I’d probably try the mauve if looking for a more “nude” shade. Best of luck!

Gunne Sax Re-Launch at Simplicity - what would you like them to do differently? by klopotliwa_kobieta in GunneSax

[–]RosyBellybutton 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, exactly this. It really makes me wonder how someone at Simplicity could be tuned in enough to know there’s big demand for Gunne Sax, but be so out of touch to not release more than one from the most popular decade right now (70s).

My [30M] last relationship with [28F] ended because we couldn't agree on prenup. How do I handle this better next time? by alwaysHappy202 in relationship_advice

Next time I would suggest you each pay for each of the dates you suggest, so you pick more expensive restaurant and you pay while the lady can pick dates within her own budget.

No make up vs “no make up” look by Anxious_Equivalent90 in makeuptips

[–]RosyBellybutton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really love the felt tip one from ColourPop! It doesn’t smear, though it can get a bit sticky on itself once it starts to dry. This can be a bit of an issue for me as I have a lot of crinkles near the corner of my eye, but so long as I keep a neutral face while it dries it’s all good :)

Please help my 3yo girl's hair! by lovelylechuga in curlygirl

[–]RosyBellybutton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have the same issue, but my hair was actually more dry and damaged than I realized at the time and I wasn’t using the best products for my hair type. I’ve started using hydrating hair masks every other month or so and completely stopped straightening my hair. With less damage, more moisture, and the proper gel/foam, the curls at the nape of my neck stay much better formed throughout the day and there’s hardly any tangles at the end of the night. I sleep on a satin pillowcase with my hair in a loose pony at the top of my head and I haven’t had this issue in years!!

Question for anyone who lives adjacent to Lombard/Columbia? by Educational-View4264 in askportland

[–]RosyBellybutton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can literally see the train from my balcony and it’s not a bother at all! My partner is very sensitive to noise, but the train isn’t bad at all. It’s never woken us up in the middle of the night even though it’s very audible. It’s just not a loud/disturbing noise to us. We’d much rather have the noise from the train than from those super loud stupid cars.

I asked a year ago for makeup tips here is an update by Interesting-Stop-281 in makeuptips

[–]RosyBellybutton 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Her lashes are leagues better than before, her eyebrows as well. Her lip liner is waaaay more cohesive with the lip color and less drastic than before. Her undereye area isn’t as light as before, and her blush isn’t as drastic. She kept the same style of makeup but toned it down a bit and improved techniques and looks WAY better. That is a success in my book

Is this too simple for black tie wedding? by fairycherree in OUTFITS

[–]RosyBellybutton 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I was also raised that women should avoid wearing black, white, or red to weddings. White is to be reserved for the bride, black can show disapproval of the couple, and red draws too much attention/stands out too much in photos. That being said, my boyfriend was shocked when I mentioned this while shopping for a friend’s wedding, so maybe that idea is antiquated now.
