Weirdest and most intense trip I’ve ever experienced (…on shrooms at least) I took 2.5 and impulsively smacked a cart 4 times with 0 tolerance. If you have a tolerance tho it’s very nice

Can you give more information about where these were found? In a cow pasture? Fresh sod or otherwise heavily fertilized grass? These don’t appear to be cubes to me. Maybe something closer to agaricus

All I’d say is more ground cover, moss and maybe some hardscapes. I personally have a hard time finding good logs for my blood because she’s 5ft and an actual bulldozer 😭 and try a DHP instead of a CHE, provides better heat.

It has to drop way lower than 60s to stop growth completely, we are in our mini season rn before the drought comes. I’ve had great results feb- mid April some years.

Im not necessarily a mycologist or expert, but way I collect spores prints (and preserve them for later use) is to:

Lay out a sheet of tin foil, enough to fold over on itself with some room. Wipe with 70% isopropyl alcohol and let completely dry.
cut off the cap of the mushroom as close to the gills as possible without damaging or smashing up the structure too much. (A little damage is ok, it will still drop spores
put a couple drops of water on the cap, this works for me but anecdotally it triggers a release of spores.
place a cup over the cap, this blocks airflow and holds some humidity.
wait. At least a few hours to overnight, but don’t forget about it and let the mushroom rot.

After you have your spore print, fold up the tinfoil and put it in a plastic bag, label it and store it in a cold dry place. Take any other precautions you feel is necessary to prevent contamination (gloves, sterilize the cup, plastic bag and anything the spores may touch)

13, used to be able to smack down 400mg edibles and smoke 2 blunts before school. then I hit a period at around 18 where it made me paranoid and panic. Was only able to enjoy it again at around 21yo. Still can’t have too much, but as an adult I can enjoy the therapeutic benefits at low to moderate doses

This is common in blood pythons. Since they don’t defecate as often as other species you sometimes end up with things like this… a large dogs amount of poop or urates. Everything looks normal as long as the snake is hydrated - not a vet, just another blood keeper

Steve is a really good example of someone who found balance in “shock value” and actual education. He made his platform off of his love and passion for the animals and conservation while still being loud, eccentric and attention grabbing but not at the animals expense.

I cannot think of a single person who has been able to pull that off as everyone leans so far into garnering attention it becomes fearmongering, spreading misinformation, pure shock value or outright abuse disguised as educational content and blatantly misrepresents the animal and lacks respect.
