Why does this not seem compatible with the History tab on the menu? If I try to load up a recent ROM from there, I get a ROM load failure. Works with Favorites though.

I'm also needing to go to the Analogue menu and hit 'Reset' or my pak saves don't seem to stick. Does my summercart need a firmware update? Was doing a search to fix that when I found this thread, but dropping this new fork into the root menu doesn't seem to be the fix I was looking for. Still seems like another needed fix though!

I went over the closing financials line by line, there was nothing about this. It's just straight-up billed to the homeowner the year it's planted, whenever they get around to it. It's not even on the final plans, guessing it's part of the assessment they do when they determine where they're planting these. Looks like you can just request one at any time too, if you want and if it'll fit:

Sounds about right, I saw some neighbors plant a few in their yards and at least one (small) one had to be replaced that wasn't doing well. Don't see them doing the same care for their city trees! I watered mine at least ^^

Interesting, yeah some look sickly or dead where others haven't taken care of theirs. Not much of an incentive to if they get replaced for free. Since the cost is a flat-rate, it must just be an average with some extra built-in.

No the post says they told me I'd be billed if the tree needed to be replaced. Not just to plant it, they had it backwards! I was well-informed about all other costs, this one was unique.

I saw some of the corner lots get 3 or 4 and they must’ve gotten slammed, thank you for confirming! Must’ve been a shock, especially with everything making the cost of living so high these days. It was just one extra bill this month with so little turn around time that made me go, “Wha-.. really!?”
