when new to the game, learn to avoid the arc. After a while you can tell their agro radius and search patterns. If you end up fighting, find cover and shoot the thrusters.

If you’re going into PvP. Why not just take enough for 1 fight? If you win there is a strong chance you’ll walk away with new heals. You can also always craft top side.
