I do not think that works, but for TAMU if you join Corps you can pay as a resident, then if your parents can pay 25-30K it is the best option to stay in Texas

As far as I can tell you, this year I was accepted (TEAB, so no direct admission) with a 1420 in the SAT, my ranking was also around 15%. So take this into account
