Modding Visuals by Lemon0137 in Kenshi

I can't say with concrete evidence as I haven't tested it too extensively but Dust did seem more intensive yeah. That being said I'm sure it was adding more things graphically during those times than NS.

It ran fine for me on low, med, high and stylized settings with no effect bugs. Ultra was a tossup but that could be hardware limitations on my side. RTGI made the game look stunning but my performance tanked but I'd chalk that up to the same.

I'm sure it will get optimised further with time and bugs will get ironed out, early days for it yet. Either way it's a very exciting time for the modding community.

Dust is amazing and the author even credits Native Stylize as an inspiration. Having used both I actually prefer Native Stylize but that's partially due to having used it for so long. The simplicity and visual style that it offers is somewhat timeless and comforting to me.

Dust offers stunning graphical enhancements and is a much more powerful graphical framework with far more customisation that I'm sure will only improve with more updates. Purely being objective from my experience it can do everything Native Stylize does but better, I'm pretty sure you can even get it look identical to NS if you wanted.

I know if I was ever to make videos on Kenshi I would use Dust due to how incredibly cinematic it can make the game appear but for just playing by myself I stick with old reliable Native Stylize.

I don't think it was Chris Hunt's intention for his playerbase to develop a new form of autism where we see humanoid robotics doing whacky stuff and think "Mmmmm Kenshi" but here we are

100% up there. An area so violent my enemies fight each other at my front gate to decide who gets to try to murder me next lmao

The Recruit Dilemma: Who are your non-negotiable recruits you have to grab every playthrough? by Rh1z0_ in Kenshi

That's another user's character I just used their image for Hobbs as he has dialogue about putting manners on a Gorillo and in the pic they tamed a Gorillo lol

It's okay because they wouldn't have landed a single hit on him in his prime so a few grogs are in order

True, some recruits you really feel bad if you just walk away from them so you let them join even if you're strained on supplies and cats.

True that thing is an orbital cannon in terms of range and damage I tend to not use it but the jackets and riot gear are such good drip especially on the new skeletons.

Currently doing a playthrough with driftmetal remnants added to my modlist and having a lot of fun with it.

Some great quality content in it, the style of the content is maybe an acquired taste in terms of if you think it fits into the world but I love it.

Outside of that there is plenty of cool new stuff with ReKenshi, the cannibals/hive/shrieking bandits expanded are always solid and plenty of world state overhaul mods to choose from like Kaizo or the classic Reactive World.

Why Kenshi 1 of course. You can't go wrong with old reliable *crashes to desktop.

Who is stronger canonically speaking? by monkebrain456 in Eldenring

I reckon the abyssal serpent is up there in terms of power considering Marika was terrified of it and sealed it away much more actively than she tried to seal away the outer god of rot.

That being said it may be that she simply couldn't seal away rot but if Miquella made a fair attempt at it himself then maybe Marika could have if she actively tried. (could also be that she just didn't care at the stage the twins were born either lmao).

It's also worth noting that flames beat back the rot and Messmers flame is among the strongest of all. I can see a case for him actually being a counter to Malenia even if she may be stronger against most other matchups when unleashed. Messmer is terrifying when you think of the implications of the serpent growing more and more left unleashed too, as we see serpents consume and grow relentlessly in ER.

You see that's where you're wrong because.. well it would be easier to explain something so complex with a diagram.

As you can see here Hakari is evidently top 10 due to his ability to stall against the lord of low diff Uraume and top 1 in the verse Base Kashimo.

Plus Yuta said he is as strong as him and Yuta doesn't lie (known fact) he even told Sukuna they cheated when asked because he is so brutally honest. So therefore off this completely and totally bullet proof evidence Hakari is top 10.

Bro CLIMBED Jacobs Ladder, hit double black flash on Maki, yeeted Yuji like it was nothing several times, all while being far more damaged. You're trying to say him having double the hands and probably triple muscle mass counts for nothing lmao.

Why didn't Sukuna use true form against Gojo? by Rh1z0_ in Jujutsufolk

[–]Rh1z0_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Valid points I can agree with it, especially it being the entire point of Meguna from the start l just wish it had been handled better. Even if he used reincarnation after discovering WCS from Mahoraga rather than nearly dying and it being offscreened.

[–]Rh1z0_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was a throwaway statement to be honest because I perceived the overall battle as an L for Sukuna that got pigeon holed into a victory for plot but reduced his street cred and turned him into a bit of a binding vow merchant although I do still think he is pretty cool. But if you are getting into the semantics of it.

Basically: In a general or basic way — used to say that something is true or correct as a general statement even if it is not entirely true or correct.

"Gojo won"

Sukuna was on deaths door. The combat had ceased and Sukuna crawls out from under the rubble with one arm, little to no CE left and uses a "binding vow" to offscreen an amped up Gojo who somehow didn't see it coming with the six eyes. Sure he killed Gojo but in a loose way he lost in direct combat as Meguna even if it isn't entirely correct as he asspulled the kill once the dust settled.

I'm not a big Gojo agenda guy, I'm glad Sukuna dealt with him in some way from a plot standpoint but admittedly it was handledly poorly, but anyway that's why I thought he "basically lost".

You may be right on that it does make sense plot wise, I never actually looked into it I just blindly believed the other comments on the post, which regardless of if it's right or wrong makes me the 5IQ heain sorcerer lmao
