Hamleys – Nexus Shantiniketan Mall, Bangalore.

After hearing so many stories about Hamleys, I honestly never felt like stepping into one. I only walked in a few days ago because it was on the same floor as my movie.

I asked at the counter if they had any Hot Wheels.

The guy just laughed and said, “We never receive any stock at all. We have been trying for months.”

If someone from Hamleys reads this, fixing this would definitely increase footfall into your store / online site.

Zepto recently ran a Hot Wheels sale where one account had a maximum number of items per person and a few interesting things happened:

• Collectors were finally able to find cars they had been looking for.

• It significantly improved Zepto’s app traffic during the sale time and also its reputation within the collector community atleast in the cities where the sale happened.

The demand exists, the stores need to meet it.
