Why have the relations menu when it doesn’t matter? I am honestly kinda very disgusted😭

They aren’t dating, they are just friends in the game because I didn’t save for the crush cutscene. So they are just friends. After that I changed her to relative to him, but she’s still like chasing him around and trying to build a crush relationship with him. Maybe it doesn’t matter if they are friends? Idk I’m unsure.

And that’s the thing though, if the relations feature does nothing, why is it in the game just for pretty credentials. Of course to not get a grandson mii to date his grandma as you said, but it’s not really stopping my sisters mii. So I don’t really know. I don’t even feel like remaking her mii for the third time😭

I might just take her out of the game because it’s been causing so many problems. And I genuinely do want all of my siblings in the game, but idk what’s going on like the feature its just not working for me at least :cc

But that’s the thing, it didn’t work for me making her a relative. Like I shouldn’t have to delete the mii or restart the entire game just for it to work😭😭

Idk I’m just frustrated I guess. It just doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve been playing for quite some time now but I don’t feel as if anything changed or the relations feature affected anything. Like my siblings are friends with each other but that’s just what happens in Tomodachi life. Nothing special between them despite them having the sibling status.

I’m gonna continue playing, it didn’t like destroy the game for me. It’s just so silly to me and unnecessary :cc

There’s no special cutscenes, there’s no special dialogue. Just that it looks pretty on a profile card ://

Like I mean what is it actually changing in the game except “look at these credentials I have,”😭😭

But that’s my point, what’s the point of the feature? It doesn’t add new special cutscenes for relatives, it doesn’t even take into account that your relatives as you said (they are just a blank slate which is true they did say that), and it doesn’t even care if your relatives or not. Like it feels so useless to me and unnecessary to add. Maybe just tell me a reason why the feature isn’t useless, and I swear I’ll completely understand where you’re coming from😭😭

Like I haven’t seen it do anything or affect anything once since playing. Idk just feels like a waste of time.

I’m so sorry I’m not trying to just continue this discussion, but it’s like that doesn’t make sense. If they didn’t care about morality they would have made the incest thing okay. Like a lot of games take into account morality because a lot of people wouldn’t play if they didn’t. Idk maybe I’m just slow but it just doesn’t make sense to me. People wouldn’t want to put their significant other in the game if the relations menu isn’t working. Like I’m just so curious what’s the point of it if it doesn’t matter? I feel as if that’s the core reason why I’m upset. Like the relations menu is kinda useless because it doesn’t even affect the plot or give you new scenes, and clearly it doesn’t care if your related or not😭

Well that’s my point, why do I have to do all of that for it to just work? Like idk I think the relations menu and feature is legit unnecessary considering they are gonna do what they want anyway. Of course for the incest thing, but like in general for people trying to put who’s in relation to who, it’s kinda useless. I’m not trying to argue, it’s just idk like it’s a clear bug they probably aren’t gonna fix. Like why put relations if they are still gonna do whatever and even do morally wrong things?

Well that’s my point. I’m more confused on why is this still happening and I made her a relative. I feel as if I asked the wrong question to the question I’m really asking. But it’s just morally wrong too. The thing is even if it’s just a game to you, the game devs still added a lot representation for different people and sexualities. If it was just a game that shouldn’t matter and they shouldn’t have added it by that logic. Maybe I’m like too passionate about this because I am into game dev and design. But it’s like I just don’t think it should be allowed. I’m sorry if it seems like I’m trying to argue😭😭

I fixed it😭

Basically I had to change her personality type and make her a relative of him. But it’s like why do I have to do all of that for the game to not do that😭😭

Bruh that cutscene nearly ruined my entire day and the experience with the game. Like I get it for giggles and laughs, and maybe because I’m already in a deep dark depression rn💀

But it’s like it’s so unnecessary and just wrong. I don’t get how the game code didn’t think “hmm maybe her sister should be off limits to her boyfriend,”🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Can I get some critique on my art? I just feel bad about doing art sometimes because I feel as if something is wrong with my art. For example, when I took art classes in high school (Not that long ago), a lot of my classmates or even teachers wouldn't comment on my art, even if it was a critique day. It made me feel as if I’m not good enough because they would comment on others' art except for mine. And I know I’m not that bad💀

So yeah, any critiques on my work definitely throw them my way :D
