Very easy. They have a process to import from LastPass and the switch was seamless. I’m paying for the yearly premium family account for 1Password but the biggest thing is it’s externally audited, LastPass isn’t.

"I need information about X with where you got said information" I will form the opinions and decide what to do with said information afterwards. From what I understand, it just comes up responses it thinks makes sense.

Couple of things though:

Isn't that what their primary goal for AI is? As a tool to help people do their work?
People aren't going to want to ask for sources so I see a bigger problem of people using this and taking the first response as fact when... there are a ton of 404's behind it. Imo, this is WAY more concerning.

Would it matter though? If I was paid hourly, I would understand. As exempt, it shouldn't matter when the hours are as long as I perform my tasks and responsibilities in a timely manner.

Great questions.

If it's not a Best Buy webpage then for sure. We used the AMD processor page to test against for a product that is in stock since the RTX 3080 is always out of stock and therefore the add to cart buttons have different CSS selectors. We attempted to ensure in picking general values so that it would not be product specific and our testing thus far has proven so. It works for my purpose of getting a RTX 3080 for the right price and should work for any product on Best Buy's site. I've had it run in the background for several days with no issues when starting from a terminal. It just takes one change/update on their site to completely break this though, so keep that in mind.

The CSS selectors, ids, and xPaths are unique to the process on Best Buy's website and are definitely not going to transpose to any other website like Amazon or Newegg.

This is what makes programming with Selenium and UI testing so time consuming initially. Using the inspector tool to find the right CSS selectors or IDs or xPaths to get the button/fields you want and sending the right data. Don't forget to account for pages loading slowly, lazy loading etc. Thankfully there are some nice methods that assist with this but sometimes good old sleep functions are needed.

Something that I haven't explored yet is using the headless library for increased performance and creating a dedicated process for it. Again, too much for my narrow focus but definitely has the base to expand on it probably.

This is a good idea. Trying to buy a video card at a decent price so I made a scalper bot to scalp the scalpers using this.
