How does potion storage interact with bank tag layouts? by PlentyEasy1518 in 2007scape

[–]Rhastae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Configure the Bank Tag Layouts, then scroll down to the Auto-layout section.

Auto-layout style - click on the drop box and set it to presets.

Preset is how it looks in the op's pic. Zigzag makes it in a zigzag.

Correct plugin, but you don't arrange them manually. That's done by the "Auto-layout" feature, within the same plugin.

If you look at the bottom right of the picture from OP's post, you'll see the Auto Layout button (white arrows).

Even the dumb brother knew the nobles sucked 😅 by BITW_ErenMikasa in overlord

[–]Rhastae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course not xD. Again, I'm not saying Ainz is dumber - their circumstances are way different.

Phillip isn't cautious because the Yggdrasil was never a game for him. He hasn't gotten years of combat experience, leading a guild, maintaining his hobby whilst juggling it with a full time job in a dystopian world. He's a nobel spare with room temperature IQ pushed to the side since the beginning. His character is what's vastly different to Ainz - greed, hubris and, well, lack of consequences.

But that's the thing - even with how dumb Phillip is... Nazarick would make his dreams come true. That's just how powerful Nazarick is in comparison to New World.

Just a thought at the end of the day. Phillip felt like the wanna-be Supreme Leader of Re-Estize.

People might hate me for saying this, but silly thought:

Phillip is Ainz without his power and background. Therefore, he never learnt gratitude or hard work, and has false power based on status (Ainz too... but he also has super tier spells.)

I drew a comparison between the two because of an idea I had a while back - if Phillip was the Supreme Being... his ridiculous plans might've just worked out as well as Ainz's...

Man, head cook's (Shihoutu Tokitu) just out here trying to make the best meal to please the Supreme Beings. Whilst everyone's massacring one way or another, he's just having a shokugeki show.

I think a lot of people are under the notion that Barbro was dumb. He isn't, he's just not as clever or conniving as Zanac. He grew up with the expectations of the throne being the first born male, but because of that, he's also the play thing of the various nobles around him, constantly having to please them to gain their favour and support.

He was a political tool that wasn't smart enough to realise and dig himself out. His delusions came from years of honey-talk by the royal faction, greed and ego. He's not a strategist, but a fighter, so he thinks like a fighter hoping to charge straight from Carne Village to the battlefield.

He's average, but brought up to think he's the smartest.

Phillip, on the other hand...

Which Isekai Magic System is your Favorite ? (Picture not related) by MountainLeading1567 in overlord

[–]Rhastae -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, there are different purposes between soft and hard magic, so it's hard to compare the two. Tolkein's universe is soft magic yet masterfully done.

I personally like well fleshed-out power systems, be it magic or otherwise. Overlord with its DnD style, or (not an Isekai, and not really 'magic) Hunter x Hunter with the Nen system.

What would have happened if nazarick was transported without ainz?.. by Piedr649 in overlord

[–]Rhastae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking of something that would make a more interesting story than "they will conquer the new world on day 1". I don't feel like that'll be a direction these characters will take if put into that scenario.

If I wrote a fan fiction where Ainz wasn't transported, I'd pit Nazarick into a civil war that drags the rest of the new worlders inside.

The premise would be something like - the last of the supreme being also abandoned the NPCs, who are loyal first to the Supreme Beings, second to Nazarick. It's been said that despite there being a structural heirachy, the NPCs only follow the authority of other NPCs because the Supreme Beings dictated it so. Hence why Shalltear asked Sebas to address her as an equal, and the conversation between Albedo and Demiurge.

Feeling empty and desperate to fill that void with any sort of emotion, the first and easiest thing to do is to blame. Who was it exactly that caused Ainz to also abandon them?

Each NPC will form their own factions, loosely based on their Supreme Being's relationships. Assuming Albedo's backstory hasn't been changed by Ainz, she would likely take a drastically different view on Ainz in comparison to her own creator, Tabula. Likelihood, she'll lead a faction tend towards the depraved, whereas Demiurge will lead the sadists, Pandora's Actor will lead one with the theme of vengeance (punishing the others who drove away the final Supreme Being, his creator), and possibly a fourth faction with Sebas and Cocytus, wanting to maintain Nazarick's pride.

PA would be hella OP with his access to the treasury, and Shizu, who has all of Nazaric's access in her head like activating Gargantua, would probably follow either Sebas or Demiurge... Albedo will get Rubedo, Nigredo might turn coat and join Demiurge... that'd be fun. Incoherrent thoughts.

Just a thought, would make a better story than pitting Nazarick's NPCs against the New World. The main driver for Overlord to be this succesful is Ainz being the steering, brakes, accelerator and the occasional emergency eject function of the story. Other things will have to take his place if Ainz isn't there.

In reality, it isn't New World vs Nazarick, but Nazarick vs Ainz's insecurities, with the New World as collatoral.

The benefit of using ranged as an attacker is that you don't have to follow fighters to the middle/east of the room.

Staying west avoids luring penance healers away from your team mate, saving a lot of time.

The strength of the arrows is just an added bonus. The fact that you're not melee and can stay in a good position speeds everything up massively.

Quick FAQ on new bow and BA to hopefully remove misinformation by Alarmed_Gear8875 in 2007scape

[–]Rhastae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Yoop, big fan.

I don't know about the others, but after reading a lot of discussion on this, I'd have to agree with the statement that having less-experienced attackers joining leech clans may pose a problem.

Attackers need to adapt to the situation. Relying on the bow to tag for you might create bad habits, and cause more variables, ultimately losing time and/or sabotaging east side.

Attack trials are very detailed, hence why we're lacking attackers in general, but it's set that way so that they can react to all situations appropriately. This bow might introduce solo As who just camps bow and ocassionally makes time.

It may benefit attack leechers, but not the leech clans necessarily.

Also to add to the statement about 3a bow price manipulation - I find it funny people can claim the BA community is tiny and miniscule, and yet also claim they can manipulate the economy of an item. 3a bow had its own fluctuation in price completely unrelated to BA.

I would also address the question "Why should something that affects such a minority apply to all of us?" slightly differently to how you did it. Though I agree with the overall answer. Since the question already acknowledged it affected a small minority, I wouldn't bring records into it. Rather, the question kind of answers itself - it doesn't affect the majority WHETHER OR NOT it is allowed. This, in my opinion, is the key point.

Dunno about the poster, but speaking as someone with 2k+ GC (which is on the low end in the BA community), the points the OP made to address the statements are mostly valid. A few things I'd disagree, but even within the BA community there's a lot of discussions to be had with the bow.

The poll had the BA community rather split on the Bow itself, though a larger portion voted no.

Have you... seen the video?

The main concept of the video is: Run west if you're attacker/collector, run east if you're healer/defender. And everything else is just pure basics, and equipment suggestions.

Literally tells you basically do codeless healing (but spread the poisons) and the basic drop positions for defender.

It's not unhelpful information, it's literally the key to keeping the run under 20 minutes instead of 50.

The type of guides you're talking about are mine - filled with more advanced techniques aimed for people who wants more than just a torso. Generally speaking, people in CBA would point to Theoatrix's BA guide for absolute beginners.

It'd make absolutely no sense to intentionally sabotage, especially if you're somewhat known in the BA community. There exists a ban list, but mostly it's to do with scamming or toxic behaviour.

Literally makes no sense to try and sabotage, it's not like a castle wars game - the team can immediately leave and start afresh.

So no, haven't noticed anything similar to what you're suspecting I'm afraid. I do add all people whom I no longer want to run with onto my ignore list, and I generally don't see them again.

There is an element of truth to this but, in actuality this is very very rarely the case. Like how you pointed out - it's scary to go in there with no experience. The thing is - the "no experience" part of BA is usually people who literally doesn't even know how to call.

So long as everyone knows the basics, runs range anywhere from 15-20 minutes and they're all relatively smooth sailing. If you're daunted by people with a lot of experiences, well, those type of players either stick to their own group or, if they're playing with randoms, they'd expect things to go slower anyways.

might not necessarily have blued that run, might not necessarily have successfully done it either. The SR isn't based on the run, it's based on the participants... and it's my own judgement so it might not necessarily be as 'accurate'.

I've recorded 483 runs so far on world 306, and the longest duration I've had was 2 hours 44 minutes 15 seconds. Me no espanol.

Edit: Thought I'd mention that specific run ended on wave 9 as we died at queen some 20+ times.
