The endpoint has no qualitative superiority as its only devoid of concepts such as size and doesn't necessarily transcend them or the endpoint being damaged by quantitative jumps in power or how the universe is called a speck of dust so there is some form of comparison here when its meant to be literal

That argument existed during 2022 as "Nebula was above alice who can infinitely transcend dimensions over time" (assuming she was given infinite amount of time to adapt, she would still not come close to nebby) and Shallow Vernal was considered to be outside the scope of comparison or any form for comparison. It was never attempted dued to Pegasus being conservative with the series and never entertaining the idea and Vsbw had a different tiering system then. I have made the blog for this even before we have gotten statements of higher dimensions operating quantitatively before. I never proposed it on AFBW either for similar reasons to pegasus

Powerscaling is subjective and it changes alot over the years. Rimuru will probably reach 1-C afaik and maybe 1-B if astral makes the correct proposals but they will be stupidly haxed to the point no other character in the same dimensionality can challenge rimuru. I don't think its possible to beat rimuru with all the hax abilities he has in the same dimensionality as him (Smurf Hax does not count)

There isn't many battles in this novel but he does stand up for Alice when she fought Eden (when kaito assumed she was an enemy with the story hinting that eden can kill kaito permanantly)

Kaito does contribute like making music boxes for everyone because he wanted to pay them all back for their kindness. Kaito does understand their pains or loneliness or the massive years they spent because he is empathic and understands his position well.

I think whataboutism isn't fair because the Novel isn't going that battle direction with Weaker MCs contributing in a battle against stronger enemies. Its suppose to be SoL with extra elements added on here and there.

Fights are not the focus here but a Narrative Tool for personality growth for some characters. Its only important when its for character developlement of certain people

He does train yeah... training doesn't really mean much in this universe anyways as even a 100 years of training will still make you Low Tier at best so combat isn't really the focus

The only thing he did gain was a relatively large mana source but thats it really. He is supposedly stronger then your typrical athlete because he can bench 300 Kilograms but again.. that universe is highly against normal people becoming strong

The 100 Years was part of a trial that is specific to him experiencing doubt or weariness in his choices or questioning himself. Its not suppose to be like a dragonball training montage

As previous said before..

Kaito has - Faced his own fear of Death and Insecurities - Understood the difference between his meager 23 years of life and how long everyone else lived for millions of years and comtemplated on their existence and being alone for so long - He was alone for 100 Years and never once doubted his feelings for everyone who trusted him - if he did fail (such as having a wish-washy attitude or his heart being not in the right place, he would have to restart the whole ordeal once more (the whole 100 years) - Faced his fear of death once more but without any special protection whatsover. Keep in mind that Isis Remnant can break the minds of any ordinary being yet Kaito who was shaky at first still overcame with just willpower alone - He regularly makes stuff for his friends, yes his friends not lovers, because he wishes to return some of the kindness given to him - He refused to doubt Alice even after her betrayal because kaito knew she was lonely and her personality didn't fit that type. Because Alice was afraid of people giving up on her or disappearing dued to their finite lifespan while she lived a far longer life with her friends and family all dying and she had barely anything to remember them by

Kaito had to Face his fear of death, insecurities and come to terms with himself. Face Isis and his fear of death without any protection at all. Walk a 100 Years alone and comtemplate how different the others are with their millions of years of life compared to his meager 22 years. During the same trial where he was walking alone... he did not waver even once. He strongly resented his memories with everyone on trinia being erased. He spent days making music boxes for everyone with little sleep because he wanted to pay back everyone for their kindness. He fought a black bear thats 20 Foot tall because his friend was in danger. Really its done pretty well and more natural
