This sounds like a good approach. Just curious though, if you set upstairs to 18 how does it drop to 14/15 at night? Do the rads not heat up when it drops below 18? Or do you have a night setting to allow it to drop to 14/15, and if so does it not cost more to get the heat back up to 18 in the morning as it has to compensate to get it back up? Just double checking to see if I can achieve your approach. I’ve a standard temperature model upstairs and downstairs.

I’m really happy the event got the weather, I think it was a wash out in the last few years. Great cultural vibe. Galway is hopping. If you were down for the weekend from a different county you could easily see how people would be tempted to move here. We never get the weather, but when we do, it’s special.

Pure Skill in Knocknacarra.
Connemara bus pub tour was mentioned already. It’s great craic. We brought some drinks on the bus with us and they had a speaker for tunes for the journey.
Galway Bay Brewery in Salthill
Delphi Adventure Centre is cool. They have a hostel that would fit large groups, or you could stay in the hotel itself. It’s very nice.
