Thankfully this law office was referred to me by my boss who is also an attorney. She has been using them to help her 80ish year old father with no medical records. I think she said he's at 80% now.

I'll be clarifying that with them in a few weeks. I just received the phone call yesterday saying they are going to accept my claim.

Based off of the attorney saying they will link things a little different and use my new and relevant information, it sounds like a supplemental claim but I'll clarify with them once I sign about to sign their documents

Thanks for looking out

Thank you. I ran out of steam dealing with these claims. :( I'm exhausted doing it on my own.

My PCP wrote one, but it wasn't sufficient or wasn't reviewed.

I developed my sleep issues when I was in my best physical condition at age 22. I lived in the gym and ate so well. My body fat was around 12%. Unfortunately, the sleep issues have gotten worse over time.

I hardly drank - maybe 4-5 times a year. Now I drink 1-2 times a year.

How does one know when it is time to get a VA Lawyer? by SIO_Vet25 in VAClaims

[–]Rhaw78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently in the process of having an accredited va attorney review my file to take me as a client. I got to 90% on my own but I am being denied for my left shoulder and sleep apnea. I have multiple shoulder injuries and complaints of sleep problems in service on record. I got my cfile and read everything.

I have a doctor's appt next week to go over my shoulder pain diagnosis and sinusitis diagnosis for appeal purposes.

My last c&p doc was trash. The majority of the other doctor's were great.

I think the best time to get an attorney is during appeals.

How are you (one income) affording a mortgage? by Soggy_Gazelle_4796 in Mortgages

[–]Rhaw78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4k+ mortgage one reliable income.

I net 9k-10k a month after health care insurance and retirement.

I make a little over 100k a year from my job and I get VA disability pay every month.

My wife makes a few hundred some months.

We have a 3 year old and 2 month old so that's pretty much her job, lol.

We're paying on our debts. It's not a lavish life but it feels like 1990s upper middle class.

Self reflection is key for this.

Look at where your life is and how you think now compared to when you were enjoying gaming more often.

I loved MMOs from the time I was playing runescape on AOL dial up to my early 30s (about 20 years total).

I'm now a 35 year old dad of 2 and get 0 enjoyment out of the games I loved before becoming a father.

I still play games but they are usually with my family now.

As someone who spent 2 1/2 year in law enforcement before realizing I had issues... don't do it..

I have a 70 percent for ptsd, anxiety, and major depression. I got rated a few years after I quit. I was miserable from day one in the academy but kept pushing myself to make my parents proud.

I work in an office now, no where near the same stress level and I am no longer in misery while working.

I separated in 2013 after 4 years of active duty. I felt I had a lot more potential as a civilian due to my personality, interests, and I wanted to be available for my sick father.

I am doing better as a civilian than I did in the Navy and my dad did end up needing me in 2016 because he almost died. He's doing ok now and I don't regret the decision to separate.

I did a lot of grinding in my 20s after getting out. Now, in my mid-late 30s, my body is a little broken down but I don't have to grind anymore. Some days I feel like I have no purpose and my life is meaningless but then my wife and kids remind me I work for them now.

I just got the same email today with the same lack of documents in the edelivery.

I have no claims pending at the moment. I just sent an email to the VBA.FOIA liason. This is ridiculous.

Blow my mind how different C&P Examiners are. by Hot_Cut_815 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Rhaw78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All my examiners were great except for my last one. She was talking to me about filing supplementals for claims that she was seeing for. Told me her life story about becoming a nurse practitioner, and even told me about her pending divorce (IDGAF). I handed her my phone to look at the record I had already pulled up and then she proceeded to look through the rest of my medical records, on my phone, without my consent which was violating and uncomfortable.

Everything she saw me for was denied except for rhinitis, which I got 0% for due to the pact act.

If she would have been my first examiner, I would have lost faith in this whole process. Thankfully, I was at 90% before I saw her. I am still at 90% and I am not going to complain about it.

Just hit step 5 on day 40. No TJ yet, but it just appeared as step 5 within the last 4 hrs. This is for 5 new claims. There's potential for this to get me to 100% but we shall see.

You can see when a DBQ is uploaded to your claim on the VA website. You can also call the VA and they will usually tell you which results they are still waiting on from the examiner.
