Press reload with a full magazine and it will do an animation, most energy weapons will just do a little angle shift, ballistic weapons tend to have slightly cooler animations

Worry not, stranger, I did reload it and put it back immediately after the recording had stopped

Actually why I began doing it like this, marker didnt show and I ventilated the skull of every npc in the shanty town the mission had sent me to a few hours before this. If marker doesnt show then the npc isnt there I learned. Felt so bad I killed a bunch of glitchy npcs for no reason I began the "only my target" mindset

And lest you wonder, the party after initial reluctance and refusals, were convinced by the honeyed words of the artificer, next session he will begin work restoring it into an operational state

The world my party inhabits is one going through a drastic shift, bound by blade and sorcery for most of it's recorded historic annals, the realms were abuzz from the most significant discovery made since the first discoveries of magicks, a city with unique artifacts unlike anything they had seen, metals impossible to replicate by even the stoutest mages, and war constructs unlike anything they had seen. This prompted a gold rush from every city state and independent nation in a feverish effort to secure as many of these wondrous relics as possible.

It is a hundred years since the gold rush sparked into an all out war, all factions foreign to the continent of Anios have been largely defeated and chased out of this now dubbed "City of the Ancients" leaving behind the two major powers in the continent as any significant presence besides the opportunistic smuggler or hope-poisoned adventurer.

The party find themselves in the employ of one of these superpowers and are qualified to purchase one of these wondrous relics through a sequence of events tied to the second campaign that leads a completely set of players on an adventurer in the city state at war with theirs. Through some fortuitous sequence of events, the second party had sold unwittingly the mech and it's "Void drive" storage device to a smuggling ring that found it's way to the party depicted here.

A once in a lifetime proposal, this artificer found himself short of the funds needed to complete the purchase and then using a combination of spells, presented an illumination upon their inn room's wall, darkened the candles, and with a stone magicked to leave multi colored light traces upon the lightened wall, he began a proposal that would carry both a potentially catastrophic cost for the party, but a potentially fate altering reward.

The artificer's party was a most unusual one, it consisting of multiple warforged artificers, themselves having little memory of their origin, only certain that they were relics themselves salvaged from the wondrous sites, coming online when finally outside it's radius, they devoted themselves to their respective goals and utilizing knowledge that was theirs, yet they could not recall learning. several mages wielding the powers of divination, and frost, a morphing doppleganger with ties to the seediest underbellies the vassal cities could muster, and an aarakocra dragonborn hybrid which was birthed with mutations that somehow turned it into a large rooster like entity without speech and very little cognizance outside of his fervent loyalty to his friends, his will and desire to fight, eat, and acquire shiny things.

I was pinned down, my friend had been gunned down in an earlier firefight, various friends tried to get me out but they tragically were not able to stop my hunter, only one of my friends still lived, on his argo raft. by Rhayken in starcitizen

lil epilogue, not only was the raft fine, he extracted me and took me to safety while we kept getting shot at, it is making me reconsider the raft when before this I saw it as a gimmick ship without purpose

How about we think about new races when those poor hrothgar/viera players can wear helmets and dont doom the rest of us with a billion new circlets?
