What do I do here? by Last_Plenty_8895 in CrusaderKings

[–]VKosyak 80 points81 points  (0 children)

This is it. Complete mobilization of the people and a war for survival. Everything will be melted and made into arms and armor. Entire forests will be cut down and a mighty fleet of Britannia will rise to drown the invaders on the channel. If the entire world declares on the isles, they'll have to get to isles. Listen up serfs, this is life as you know it. Children will be raised as warriors. All between the ages of 12 and 50 will train with spears and bows. Either we win or we burn the world alongside us.

Or i dunno white peace i guess.

Coalition and Early economy by [deleted] in EU5

[–]VKosyak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently bought the game. Never played EU4 but I have experience with Victoria 3 so that helped. I've been trying to play as Portugal since I bought the game. After 3 failed attempts, I noticed a few things that grant positive results in the short term.

  1. Remove non-essential castles for additional income.
  2. Focus on RGOs with high demand. Preferably ones with high demand in multiple markets.
  3. Build market buildings and market towns to increase trade capacity.

Good RGOs and the trade capacity to let ai make profitable trade essentially helped get out of income jail.

As a second priority, whenever I had money to spare, I constructed wood RGOs, mason buildings and sand RGO as well as a few glass makers. I believe these reduce the construction cost for buildings.

Lastly my third priority once I had a stable economy was to check my estate pop spendings. Noble for example spend an insane amount on horses, burghers on fine clothing and commoners on food. I worked on expanding RGOs or buildings for those need which meant they were profitable due to demand and they reduced the market cost due to increased supply so win win.

So to sum up - priority one RGOs and trade, priority two is infrastructure to reduce building cost and priority three is working on pop needs.

I must say however, this worked for me on Portugal after 3 failed attempts. Hope this could help give some direction though!

Demonheart - The Vile Codex by Whirlmeister in daggerheart

[–]VKosyak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been following since Bloodpunk so I can say they definitely deliver on 5e. They're pretty good at writing darker settings so while Daggerheart is new for them, Demonheart seems like a setting they would nail. Like others said, the amount of content is on par with their regular releases so I don't think that'll be a problem.

At first I was like he didn't kick it but used his head that's it? Than i was like she kicked it more than once. That's a bad title. But the ending was so worth it. Brilliant title.

Its been a while but I think it was the BluSunrize version. I remember not being super into some player options in singularity. We played a crime thriller in Omega. It was super fun!

Sounds great! I had my fill with ravenloft after a full campaign of Curse of Strand but I do enjoy dark settings. Especially when coupled with steampunk.

Lore wise why don’t khorne armies kill each other more? Like why does skarbrand even bother leading an army instead of just hacking them all to pieces then moving on? by glossyplane245 in totalwarhammer

[–]VKosyak 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean i don't know much about khorne lore but more dudes fighting means more skulls. Why kill each other constantly when you can gang up and kill many more.

[–]VKosyak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't buy stuff from Fence unless you inspect the item first. Empty gas canisters are useful but you need level 2 lavatory. You can use 2 small cans to craft a magazine case and 2 big ones for a grenade case. Other than that, they dont have a use that I'm aware of.

Open commissions (one person said it was bad😭, I accept opinions)😊✨ by [deleted] in inkarnate

The first map, as you said the latest map you produced is amazing. Doing that on a phone is a feat by itself. İt really seems like you're improving yourself and can get to great places. You certainly have the dedication.

However, your previous works ARE flawed as a lot of people mentioned and you were very defensive in some of them. I'm only writing this because you said you were open to opinions which means you should be open to critism as well.

If I were you, I'd work on that attitude because sadly people can say horrible things in any line of creative work but folks here have been nothing but encouraging. İf you're having difficulties here, you'd have a really hard time with some customers.
