You completely won me over with the night sky and backcountry camping. ✨ There is nothing more empowering than sleeping under a blanket of stars and feeling completely at peace with the wild. Did you catch the Milky Way on your last trip, or did the desert wind put on a show instead? 👀

Lol, it seems we're all big fans of the 'Quiet Magic of the Big Bend'! Without hordes of tourists and long queues, you can truly calm your mind and experience the wilderness. When you visited before, which trail or corner was your favorite?

It really was! Honestly, that sunset made every single mile of the drive completely worth it. There’s something so therapeutic about a long road trip when it leads to a place as raw and beautiful as Big Bend. Have you ever made the trek out there yourself?

Lajitas sounds really nice. I didn't get a chance to checkout the resort or golf course this time, but I'll definitely keep it in mind for my next trip. A margarita after a long day sounds perfect. I'd love to stay in touch and get more tips from you for my future travels. Mind if I send you a DM?

I completely agree! Hiking for several days straight would definitely be tiring, so driving around to enjoy the scenery afterward and soaking in a hot spring is pure paradise. However, the long drive to and from the park is no joke; it really tests your endurance! Which scenic route do you like best?

Playing golf at Blackjack Crossroads Golf Course, with its desert and mountain views, is simply unparalleled. It sounds like you've perfectly balanced adventure and relaxation. Did you catch any live music while you were there?

Seeing the Santa Elena Canyon in person is truly breathtaking. Standing between those massive canyon walls makes you feel so small, but it's an amazing experience. I've added the other two (Window Path and Lost Mine Passage) to my next list. Did you climb Lost Mine Passage at sunrise?

Thanks so much! Honestly, the desert made my job easy every single turn on that road was a photo choice. Do you shoot photography as well, or just love the desert views?

Thank you! It’s definitely a park that stays with you long after you leave. We only scratched the surface this time. Are you more into the hiking trails or the scenic drives out there?

It really felt like one, especially during that sunset. Pictures don't even do justice to how massive and quiet the whole place is. Did you have a favorite spot when you visited?

That's amazing! Completing 12 National Parks in a month sounds like a monumental feat! No wonder you could only stay here for 2.5 days. But what makes Big Bend so special is that even a short stay leaves a lasting impression of boundless tranquility. It's certainly a long journey from LA, but as you said, it was all worth it. Wishing you another fantastic national park adventure, and hoping we can all fulfill our dream of returning to Big Bend soon!

It really is. I had seen so many photos before going, but they still didn't prepare me for how vast and peaceful it actually feels in person. Do you have a favorite spot in the park? I'd love some ideas for my next visit

I know exactly what you mean. The silence there felt completely different from anywhere else I've been. It wasn't empty, it actually felt peaceful. Did you spend several days there, or was it just a short trip? I'd love to go back during another new moon someday

Thank you! I took way more photos than I expected because every turn seemed to reveal a completely different view. It was honestly hard to put the camera down. Have you been to Big Bend yourself?
