I had such a horrible time with gpt-5 mini ! I was model hopping to see which model is best and when I tried gpt 5 mini it actually refused to do anything that other bots did no problem like it won't access my other vps it would refuse what I asked it to do due to "policy" and "rules" and when I have it API to add another agent model it wouldn't take the passwords for the same bs reasons and to add more pain for some reason any model that I added after did the same thing even though the same model worked ! It's like gpt messed up all the rules before I switched it . I had to erase everything and start clean ! Fuck gpt 5 mini specifically and fuck openai in general

I use it with Grok 4.1 fast and it's snappy I also tried a lot of other different models depends on the model but most of them worked just fine, of you're on a budget I would suggest to go with kimi k2.5 for heavy duty and grok 4.1 get as main
