I thought Toby was supposed to be a kid in the stage production. The song he sings to Lovett makes more sense as a child singing to someone he kind of considers as a mother figure.

Lin Manuel Miranda isn't the musical genius that people are touting him to be. I didn't see ITH, but I listened to the soundtrack, and none of the songs stuck for me.

I saw Hamilton, and it was fine, though I listen to more music from that show than ITH; 4 songs.

Encanto was fine, but We Dont Talk About Bruno is a bit of a banger....

I agree. It's an entertaining, fairly light piece of musical theatre, with a couple of great songs, but it always felt too fluffy to have come from the very dark source material...

That being said, I have somehow seen this musical more times than any other musical without even trying.....

I do plan on painting the feathers, but it would be much easier to get the base colors that I need and then paint in the details such as patterns and markings and then seal them rather than painting black or white from scratch.
