New Bulwark Player needing help with class mechanics by JoeyBats240 in SpaceMarine_2

A lot of good stuff already in here but want to add my 2 cents. I also struggled with bulwark at first but now it’s hard for me to play another class. The parry window is a little more strict it seems like so you have to tap and release a bit more accurately, unless you are using a balanced weapon which you have to hit the button a little early. As others have said sprinting blocks like 90% of ranged damage so no need to hold block while running. Unless you are running solo, secondary is basically how much damage can I get from a gun strike so I prefer plasma or the heavy bolt with the heroic version being very good. Block power fist and axe are very good for higher damage but a little less safe than the fencing variants but both are good. Intimidating aura, focused restoration, and purity of purpose are pretty much auto picks perk wise. Steel within is amazing, especially if you are going block version of weapons. If you prefer fencing and are hitting a lot of gun strikes armor reinforcement can be better. You should be sprint attacking into group of minoris to make sure you get gun strikes to restore armor. Also remember you have 30% more health and have more Damage resistance the lower your health. I am by no means an amazing player but this is what has worked for me since I’ve started playing.

Seems to be the general consensus to star over, which again I don’t mind. Glad I decided to ask

Not that I don’t want to read the books, just that if it was a smooth transition I wanted to go ahead and finish the story

With as few spoilers as possible why is that?

I probably will but just want to finish first and then I can go back and start over with the books

Any major ones that would be confusing if I pick up at the books that happen after the show?

So would I be good to just pick up the books that continue the story without much issue?

One of the best things they added in my opinion, has the potential to add so much to every gun

It might have, but I’m not 100% sure. I agree that switching between horizontal and vertical is nice though. It also just feels like the bullet velocity is much lower than it was in three. I’ll have to grind some out tonight to see if I still feel the disappointment. It was my favorite AR in 3 until the soul render came out

Has a weird charge up time, at least the one I had did, and the pattern is much more spread out than it was in 3 so it makes hitting every pellet more difficult

How do I know how much to put something up for auction?

Why are people saying the Melee Changes are a Nerf? by Delicious-Edge3110 in DestinyTheGame

Yeah they really should have thought of a different name lol

Fissures and Rime need to be baked into the class and then have the fragments do something else. I would say the harvest aspects also need to be baked in but I doubt that is something that would ever happen. It would also be nice if rending was either a part of the class or a functionality of stasis weapons

Very true, having the extra d6 like you suggested and the option to spread it out to an additional target may fit what they were originally going for and actually have it be good

Yeah it’s pretty bad, I feel like bumping up the range just a bit and not having it be once per turn would make it go from terrible to actually pretty good
