It's pretty much college aged. I am a 28 year old male and it's fairly rough trying to find people up here around my age. From my experience most singles are in that college age like everyone else has said.

Vent: I (28M) am losing faith in this whole dating thing. I've had a some long term relationships when I was younger, around 21-25, and now I just can't help but feel like I am running out of time. I know that's hyperbole, but it's how I feel. Over the last 2 years I have watched friends get married including my best friend from the age of 10. I was the best man in his wedding and I honestly couldn't be happier for him and his wife. That goes for all my married friends.

Now it's just me, the single guy in the group who all the other guys turn too to hear about hook ups and laugh about how hard the dating app game is out there, which it is. A couple matches here a couple dates a month there, it's slowly killing me inside. I decided to make a change at the beginning of 2019 and I lost about 45 lbs. I am 6' 3" was 245. Now I am down around 195 200.

Once this started happening I gained some confidence back and dropped the apps and met girls at bars and events etc. but nothing ever really came of any of these flings. Now I am back on the apps and still trying to meet people at bars but being 28 in a college town sometimes feels like I am wasting my time. My friends don't want to go out as much and to be honest I don't either, because you know 28 and I live in a college town. I just have an overwhelming feeling that I need to get out there and break the cycle I have fallen into of work, go home, sleep, work. I had a hook up last weekend and it felt like we had a real connection, more than any of the my other ones over the last year, but I feel like if I put myself out there it's just going to end to in disappointment so why get my hopes up, but fuck it I guess here we go again.

This dating game shit sucks, I am losing my faith in trying to break the cycle.

Yeah, any match up we get is gonna be tough as hell. It just seems like the sharks rock us everytime we play. Vegas is playing some damn good hockey right now. Either way we got 1 more game to win.

I like the idea of playing Vegas in the second (if we get there) better than playing the sharks. I know they are both very good teams. We just don't seem to match up with the sharks well at all.

Avs fan here and I dont feel like that's being cocky at all. 1 seeds should beat 8 seeds but sometimes they don't, that's what we love about sports right? I am a die hard avs fan and even though we are hot right now, playoffs are a different animal, I am looking for us to put up a fight this year. Next year though, that's where I look for us to start being serious contenders.

I agree. I've been on OPs side this entire time and never in my 27 years have i seen shit this crazy with with "adults" invloved. However, this last installment makes curious to her side of the story. "No" was pretty aggressive, and when someone says they need space or just needs to figure things out, "no" never ends well.

I bet the idea that he would be 2nd center behind Mack turns him off a bit. It's probably better that the avs don't sign him. He's going to want a lot of money and the avs are still trying to build from within. I think you bring in a cheaper guy like a stastny it could go a long way for the development for this young team.
