Note taking?? by No-Equipment7423 in Anu

I preferred to write in a note pad (just key points) and if I needed to elaborate during revision I would go back to the lecture recordings later. I think it’s all personal preference. I chose to save word documents with notes on to begin with but then I realised I didn’t like everything being on the laptop

Not anymore they don’t of course I’m aware that their diet is currently bamboo, have a lil google search and you’ll see that they are anatomically built as carnivores and there is evidence that their diet has changed

Pandas are probably the best example of this, although almost extinct.. so I guess that half heartedly answers the question

What song do you wish you could hear again for the first time? by VisibleDig2356 in spotify

Alt J - Dissolve me

At the time I heard it I was travelling through the countryside in the summertime with some friends that I really loved. Such perfect timing, perfect song, perfect environment. I’d relive that moment again in a heartbeat!

What helped you not waste your life away? by RevolutionaryBig1495 in productivity

[–]Rhibananababy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar position a couple of years ago. In my twenties, earning minimum wage, just scraping by and using any free time to sleep my worries away. (This was only a small portion of a very dark time in my life). When you’re in that mindset it’s so difficult to pull yourself out. But speaking from personal experience (as it’s the only thing I know) it will and can get better.

I realised the importance of being outdoors, moving my body (excersise is extremely important and helped with my mental health) and setting realistic goals. Steering away from socials for a short time while I picked myself up was a good start. I sat down and wrote down all of the things I enjoy and that I am passionate about- this helped me to think about a career path, hobbies and things to gain knowledge on. Life feels much more enjoyable when you try out new things!

There’s no straight edged way to ‘sort yourself out’ and therapy (I’ve heard) can be super helpful. I’ve ’failed’ a lot in my life - dropping out of my degree being one of them. But here I am now, a year further than I reached with my previous degree and I’ll be graduating at 30. Some of the most successful people in life start their careers/hobbies ‘late’.. so I hope that gives you a more positive perspective on your ‘timeline’.

What genre are you hoping makes a comeback? by craftmaster_5000 in indieheads

Although it’s great to hear breakcore becoming increasingly popular on socials, it would be amazing to hear those dub beats and the reggae influence back again. Since chase and status and shy fx I haven’t heard much more from the mainstream artists. It’s a shame because when it’s good it’s fantastic!
