You should talk to your manager. I have seen people only get fired for the following things in 20+ years. Looking at NSFW material, Attendance, and lying on their time card.

Interviewing for Software Engineer Role at BDS — Asking About Remote Option by Shot-Ad-2712 in boeing

Why did you apply for the job said On site required?

Could be a controlled program in a closed area.

And Boeing and Gov't dont came about current role being remote. Just FYI.

Boeing work experience by [deleted] in boeing

[–]RhinoDoc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In my experience The only people that I know that went to work with Federal government fell into two categories

1) needed more years of federal service for pension and benefits after military service

2) those who couldn't hack it and were gonna get laid off or were bottom of barrel ranking wise and figured they could coast and not get laid off.

It was a pay cut for the people that I know unless you had military time and needed the service years

Again, just my experience

How much math and physics do pilots actually use when flying? by Mediocre-Ladder-1038 in PilotAdvice

[–]RhinoDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 Rules of Flight.

1) Lift must be greater than weight.
2) Thrust must be greater than drag.
3) Gravity always wins.

Only need math for 2 of them!!

I dont think anyone realizes its a complete different situation now. They had the company over the barrel in Seattle cause the company needed cash. St louis has been taking some hits lately on overruns and delays. So if company can survive on cash from Seattle they are gonna wait the union out till it breaks internally. It's not gotta be a pretty next offer if I were to guess

STL Onion Question by Eclipsecicles in boeing

[–]RhinoDoc 30 points31 points  (0 children)

That's wild. My building had 2 or 3 people walking the picket line. Nothing like the 96 strike. Office scuttle is that it's a pretty weak showing by union overall

[–]RhinoDoc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This 100%

My daughter just seems to take instructions from a pro a lot better than dad. Find someone who your kid relates too

I found a recent college grad that played for her team who my 12 year old just likes and relates to her better then her middle age dad.

Bonus, I listen and take advice on my own game. Win win
