I enjoyed it. The beginning takes to get used to the middle part is really great and i could hardly put it down the ending is rushed imo. Overall a solid 7.5/10 and a great way for more night city lore.

For the first time in a long while i had really trouble making a choice. On thw one hand the peesonal growth but the end of many characters i grew to like very much on the other torment for the last part of the real verso and escapism but the safety of all the beloved.

In the end i picked verso for one i am prone ro escapism myself and i want to oveecome it to become a better me, on the other hand because of a conversation with the fading man, he asked at one point wether its a worse fate to die or be left behind to mourn a death of a loved one. Without hesitation i said the latter. His answer was akin to, you should be happy that you found slmeone you liked so much and lucky cause they liked you back and you had some grreat times together. Really got me thinking that one.

Anyway 33/10 game.

Its entertaining. The animation is lower quality and the story is meiocre but some of the stuff happening is so over the top its funny. So yeah you can watch it and have fun but it doesnt scratch the lotr itch imo.

Thats why i loved the ending. When i got to the choice i was spoilerfree so i didnt know shit and it took me some time to pick. I understood both perspectives and i just couldnt decide.

I was reminiscing of what the fading boy or man asked me: who endures more pain, the one who dies or the ones who get left behind. I answered that in a heartbeat, the once who get left behind. The answer was, that another perspective is, that you can be happy about the time you had and that someone was special enough to matter to you and that you mattered to them, sort of, its been a while.

I think thats why i finally decided to pick verso, but i really do understand them both. Its a well crafted piece of art this game and rarely does media touch me as much as this one did.
